Strange Object on Mars?
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 29, 2008 -> 09:26 AM) Somewhat related to the thread discussion... A video that purportedly shows a living, breathing space alien will be shown to the news media Friday in Denver. LMAO, look at the post directly above your monolith post

Danica Patrick
If she is swinging at me, I would just bear hug her until her pit crew got there to restrain her. No punches or pushes would be necessary, the girl is really tiny. She is Tony Stewarts female mini-me, lol

Strange Object on Mars?
Im sure FlaSoxx will weigh in on this soon, and give a totally reasonable scientific explanation. Then KidGleason will come by and say it has something to do with Plan 9 from Outer Space

QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ May 28, 2008 -> 08:53 AM) Pick him up and DL Konerko, he could then be the lacking bat off the bench when Konerko comes back. Am I the only one that thinks this move makes too much sense? So we need a 4th backup 1st baseman/DH? I didnt know that

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 27, 2008 -> 03:43 PM) I enjoyed Iron Man. Would love to have seen a darker version from the mind of Christopher Nolan. Overall a fun movie though. It was just the beginning, and there are plenty of dark story arcs. Im sure that road will be traveled down the line

It's Never too Early..............
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 27, 2008 -> 01:28 PM) Trade for a second baseman who can hit at the top of the order (#1 or #2)... Such as Jose Lopez from Seattle, Brandon Phillips of Cincy, Ray Durham of SF, Brian Roberts of Baltimore, Felipe Lopez of Washington, or Freddy Sanchez of Pitt. That one is sooooooo not gonna happen. The other ones I could see, but if Phillips gets traded away from Cinci then their new GM should lose his job too

- THIS DATE IN SOX HISTORY: MAY 26TH
That was a great game for me to enjoy my birthday at.- Dinner
A lot of the problem with cooking for one is the waste and expense of getting all of the ingredients for a small meal, so i always tried to make enough that I could save and freeze or eat as lunch the next day. I have a pressure cooker(crockpot) which I think is great for making things that you dont have to be present for, I dont know if you have one or know someone who does, but you can make a lot of good meals from recipes online, I have made chicken cacciatore, chili, pot roast, beef stew, chicken soup and so many other things. i think the foreman grill is ok, but mine is getting kind of old and worn down. the lack of temperature control on my foreman grill is the big negative for me, but I dont know about the new models. Basically mine starts out cooking well, but as I continue to cook, the heat just keeps going up and starts overcooking everything.- 5/23 gamethread: Angels (28-21) vs Sox (26-20); 7:11; WGN
