    I-Pod help!

    QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 01:51 PM) I've looked, and I can't find any 20 gb ones. I think they discontinued them or something. It's just strange that they have such an enormous gap between the sizes. They phased out the 20 gig Ipods and phased in the Nano's at the same time, IIRC. Im fairly sure my 20 gig Ipod was the last of its generation, and Nano took over.
  2. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 12:57 PM) Ace Adams, my dads best friend and Lester's manager throughout the Red Sox minor league system has talked Lester up to me for years. I just can't support him being moved, even if at this point in time he's been better than he'll be for the rest of year. Yeah, my cousins best friends fathers former dog owners uncle saw Andruw Jones play once, and he thinks that you are wearing blinders. LOL
  3. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 12:52 PM) http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/reds...sox_update.html Nothing major going on in Beantown. Crisp has been hurt, I'm not going to judge him entirely after less than 300 at-bats. Lester is incredible, I wouldn't trade him for Jones straight up considering you already have Crisp patrolling centerfield. and Hansen has shown flashes of brilliance this season. You just don't make that trade, and Theo won't. You, my friend, are blinded by the Red Sox nation.
  4. QUOTE(Jim Spencer @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 12:34 PM) The Twins showed alot of patience with Lohse. As a Sox fan, I'm sorry to see him go Are you kidding? Lohse had some very good starts against the Sox in his career. No matter how bad he was doing, he always stepped it up against he Sox
  5. QUOTE(shoota @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 05:56 PM) All Sox fans should strive to be Dark Clouds because they exhibit realistic viewpoints unlike Dreamers whose viewpoints are usually inaccurate and always elementary. Dark Clouds base their thinking on fact and performance; Dreamers believe everything will turn out for the best because they're either incapable of imagining a scenario where their team or player fails, or they're incapable of comprehending the statistical performance that suggests a best case scenario is unlikely. ie. everyone listen to me, Im right, and you arent allowed to think differently.
  6. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 08:41 AM) really? i guess the O's just think they have too much good pitching. with russ ortiz around, who needs ervin santana? Not only that, but Aybar is a highly regarded prospect. The O's should have pulled the trigger on this one most definitely
  7. QUOTE(korntownballa @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 05:04 AM) why not move josh fields to SS? I did that on my Gamecube. It totally worked, man.
  8. QUOTE(South Side Fireworks Man @ Jul 29, 2006 -> 08:11 PM) The Sox acquired Carl & Robbie on July 1st. Not the second time, when he was acquired on Aug 5th http://www.baseball-reference.com/a/alomaro01.shtml#TRANS
  9. QUOTE(Harry&JimmyRocked @ Jul 29, 2006 -> 12:38 AM) very nice win today. but once again. home run or nothing.... Werent the first two runs scored via sac fly and sac groundout?
  10. QUOTE(SnB @ Jul 29, 2006 -> 12:34 AM) We have one down at school and it's "ok", I'd kinda prefer just regular old baskin robbins to that place though. PS: I have a great story about Illinikrush and that place. It involves a bet about their "large" size right before a night of heavy drinking, lol. Did this story end with a prayer at the foot of the porcelain god?
  11. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Jul 29, 2006 -> 06:53 AM) Lifetime numbers: Lieber - 4.26 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 4:1 K:BB Ratio Garcia - 4.01 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, 2:1 K:BB Ratio Vazquez - 4.35 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, 3:1 K:BB Ratio I guess they all suck. If one were to casually read this site, I bet that person would believe that.
  12. I was totally pumped with the way the bullpen shut them down. MacDougal is fishing nasty, i dont think I have seen many pitchers who can throw a 97 MPH fastball that moves sideways like that. I dont know if anyone remembers a fastball he threw to Conine, but I swear it went from the left batters box all the way to Conines feet and he still swung at it, awesome. I swear Thornton throws the easiest 97 MPH fastball in the world.
  13. Ha, that guy is pulling names from a hat. Brian Anderson, Josh Fields, AND Ray liotta for Lee? No way in heck KW makes that deal for a rent a player who he traded away a little over a year ago.
  14. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 01:41 AM) I'm assuming Carlos Lee never talked to Juan Gonzalez. Although my guess is they'll be talking over brunch about how they really spiff the bed in terms of passing up excellent deals. The main difference I see in that logic is that Lee has been pretty healthy his entire career, and Juan has been on the DL for more than half of his career. Barring a catastrophic injury in the next few months, Lee will be able to throw himself on the market and get a larger amount than 48 mil and a longer contract. I dont think Juan quite understood that Detroit was offering him an insane amount of money that he wasnt going to get anywhere else(ever again). I bet Juan understands now though.
  15. QUOTE(Wedge @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 11:33 PM) I swear I saw this guy in some porno... was it "Smokey and the ass bandits"? I cant believe you are actually admitting watching a porno called "Smokey and the ass bandits"
  16. QUOTE(T R U @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 09:18 PM) are you jokin? Cena was actually cool back then I hate him now His character may have been cool back then, but that rap sucked. If I was Lesnar, I would've F5ed his arse right there if I didnt bust up laughing first.
  17. Crazy Lady vs Calm Telemarketer Dont know if this has been posted prior to this, but you should listen until the end. This lady is hilarious. I wish I could have been Alex, he was awesome
  18. Bye Bye Pale Hose Talk, HELLO DIAMOND CLUB!!!
  19. QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 07:23 PM) This is when I liked Cena's work. I wish the match was included in that clip. Cena deserved to be totally squashed and potatoed for that awful "rap". Thats just awful. He should have left it with no beat in the background, it may have passed for humor. Maybe not. *shudder* That was real bad.
  20. QUOTE(klaus kinski @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 07:46 AM) I am amazed at the fans in the park this year-obviously some band wagon fans booing and criticizing. The effort is there from the team, its decisions that are hurting. I would not boo unless someone didnt hustle, and I have not seen that. This team is Home Run crazy. Try watching the Twins in BP-purposly hitting grounders & line drives-few fly outs and few home runs-of course we are not allowed in to see Sox BP, but I would bet its different. So only bandwagon fans criticize and boo this team, and the Sox only try to hit homeruns, yet everyone hustles and the decisions are hurting the team. Yep, I have no idea what you are talking about.
  21. This is what is messing with Billy Koch and his family, isnt it? What a strange and nasty virus/disease/whatever it is.
  22. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 05:33 AM) No. You are entirely incorrect. I'll critcize when and where I think it's warrented. I just happen to believe Ozzie's knows a whole lot more about managing a baseball team than you will ever dream of knowing. Petulance is not flattering. i have found that SH1980 likes to broadbrush when he meets any sort of resistance or difference of opinion(even in jest). I poked fun at something a week ago and became part of "you and your ilk" very quickly.
  23. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 05:03 PM) My first guess was performance enhancing drugs. Too much binaca will get your butt fired QUICK at ESPN. I totally agree with you.
  24. QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 08:37 PM) I've had it with this guy. lol
