My Dad still has all of the "First Christmas" ornaments for me and my brother, and all of these old school ornaments from growing up. I just like all of them for nostalgic purposes. None of them are really great, just cool that they are still around.

I dont like the Ken Rosenthal suggested Red Sox/Orioles/Cubs swap. I think the Red Sox would be getting alot more than they deserved.

Man, if Baltimore picks up and holds on to Prior, he is going to be a Yankee in under 3 years. The Yankees originally drafted him, and its no secret that they like Prior. Its going to be just like when Toronto signed Clemens. Prior will do well, and Steinbrenner will swoop in and pull him out of the overspent Orioles roster.

I dont know how many people watched SC today, but the Peter Gammons evaluation of the trade and subsequent list of things that need to happen(which he peddles off as things that will happen) was just short of insane. He has all of these crazy trade plausabilities, and the funny thing is that he doesnt take in account the massive amount of personnel needed to make these trades. He has Cabrera, Erstad, Glaus, Jeremy Reed, and a list of others who are coming to the Red Sox, but I was left asking myself "Who is going to be left on the Red Sox besides who they trade for?". I knew Gammons would come through with some good old fashioned numb-skullness
