There is nothing to challenge. He tried to get hit in the previous pitch, the next pitch he got hit and that’s when the benches cleared. The replay they showed after benches cleared showed that he threw his hand out at the high and inside pitch and it misses him, then the next pitch hits his hand and he didn’t need to put his hand out

Kris Bryant has played almost exactly a seasons worth of games for the Rockies in 4 years and until this season Baez has been an albatross contract for Detroit.
