  1. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Dec 1, 2015 -> 09:28 PM) Is there a way for one of the mods to unlock the offseason plan thread? I feel like all these proposals would be better in one place. I'm not quite sure why that thread was locked anyway. You should ask Chisoxfn
  2. BUT THE CUBS WILL GET HIM BECAUSE MADDON
  3. QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 30, 2015 -> 09:50 PM) I was surprised Hinrich did not play. Was he injured recently? y I do not like what I hear about Dunleavy. The back is not a good injury for an aging player. Dunleavy was so important to the offense last year, I was really excited to see him in Hoiberg's system to move the ball around. Hinrich has a hip pointer

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 30, 2015 -> 02:54 PM) I don't think anyone helped her get back on her feet. Morgan ran back to her, she picked up a bunch of bullets and ran with him
  5. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Nov 30, 2015 -> 12:24 PM) Karma's a b****, ain't it Tom? Looks like all the cheating is catching up to him. I mean, the guy is 11-1 this season and the one loss is against a hellacious defense on the road in overtime. So, not much has caught up yet

QUOTE (LDF @ Nov 30, 2015 -> 11:09 AM) oh man that was harsh, and you are killing me. here i am trying to be nice and mr. positive and you are coming up with this. but i agree, and the same thing with maze runner and twilite and many other books. i agree, but at least it is over i wonder why these authors can't write a good ending??? because they are trying to get them written and printed as quick as possible
  7. The Trestman bowl in full effect tonite. Maybe we can get some Clausen vs McCown action
  8. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Nov 30, 2015 -> 07:43 AM) I think it's a reference to the Sox/Royals incident last season. Aside from the A's/Royals stuff last season, I think the previous Lawrie nonsense could be chalked up to immaturity. Not that he won't act out again, but he could mature and imo has. We've seen Sox players do stupid s*** too in the past. One thing to point out about the A's/ Royals incident is that the Royals were pissed about Lawrie's take out slide. Lawrie's slid low through the bag to take out Cain but again, Lawrie slid low to take out the feet and not the knees. Lawrie even showed concern for Cain after the play. The incident started by Ventura being a prick, and Samardzija going full Ape? Again, I dont really see how that makes Lawrie fit into the Sox clubhouse. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Nov 30, 2015 -> 07:30 AM) I was referring to poor decision-making that Sox players usually have on the field (terrible baserunning, low baseball IQ, etc) I am not really seeing how a guy with a bad attitude=poor decision making on the field.
  9. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Nov 30, 2015 -> 07:21 AM) If this is truly the case, then he'd fit in with the Sox just fine. What does this even mean? Its not like the sox are a disruptive bad clubhouse
  10. I've always maintained that a man needs two things to be truly happy in life. He must be in love with video games , and he must be in love with his his mistress
  11. http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/7/71/11...d-going-108-mph That gun being pulled on him made him drive 108 mph now, too
  12. Illinois is like "WE GOTS CUBITS"
  13. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 28, 2015 -> 11:48 AM) Illinois extended cubit. LOL 2YEARS It's really sad if Khan is offering to be their T Bone Pickens and they did this though. No excuse for it
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 28, 2015 -> 08:50 AM) Report today that a heckler pulled a gun on him earlier this season. Thats not good, but i really dont see how that has anything to do with what happened outside the club. If he is fearful for his life, he probably shouldnt be hanging out at clubs, calling people broke and yelling "i got your money". Especially at 19 years old
  15. Romo broke his collarbone. He isnt dying, he wasnt concussed, he will heal and come back next year.
  16. QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Nov 27, 2015 -> 06:55 AM) It would have been nice to see the goal line view of the Eddie Lacy TD a time or two. Every time they showed the play, it was from a slight angle near the end zone. Replays were bad all night. I wonder if the NFL wants cooperation from TV to no show controversial plays over and over because of the amount officiating has been criticized this year. It really looked like Lacy threw it behind him before he entered the end zone
  17. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Nov 26, 2015 -> 10:59 PM) I don't think Callahan, Amos, Christian Jones will be no-names much longer. Christian Jones has been pretty disappointing this season IMO. Flashes here and there but he disappears for large stretches
  18. Yea, Dallas was favored in this game
  19. See ya Chip Kelly. Hope the NFL was fun
  20. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Nov 26, 2015 -> 12:18 PM) Because he's a .6 WAR compared to 2.2 Valencia. I'd take Valencia over him. That said, I'm not dipping into the farm for either. Yea, but Valencia has almost exclusively hit against lefties since his rookie year because he has been so bad against righties. He is only a platoon, you are still looking for a 3b And that is not me endorsing Lawrie, that guy is never healthy
  21. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Nov 25, 2015 -> 08:23 PM) Pay Avila 2.5 mil to be starting catcher.............pay Flowers 4 mil in arbitration to backup................I do not see it! Well hey, feel free to b**** and complain over nothing
  22. @sryantribune: Illinois exploring two-year deal for #Illini interim football coach Bill Cubit, per Tribune sources. Story will be posted on soon.

Outside of Urlacher, and maybe Carrier and Tommy Harris, there aren't much else to show for (David Terrell. yuck...). Ooops, forgot that Rexy did lead us to a SB, that counts for something, amIrite? This list looks like a Super Bowl contender next to the Browns. The Bears made the playoffs multiple times during this time period and had a lot of pro bowls in there, the Browns have two picks in the last 3 years that aren't even in the league right bow(Richardson and Weeden) and Manziel is hot on their heels
