  1. Shouldn't have led with the barrel roll. That is a finisher
  2. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 03:44 PM) Why did Hickman fall so far? The MLB blurb I just read said that he kind of took a step back this season, he couldn't maintain his FB velocity deep into games. They said it was dipping to high 80s. They also mentioned that his slider looked more like a curve this season, he wasn't getting the sharp break he had in the previous season
  3. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 08:38 AM) Trey Cabbage is a huge want The possibilities are endless with that name
  4. @CST_soxvan: 7:35 first pitch White Sox and Astros.
  5. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 05:09 PM) What exactly was his surgery? First termed minor arthroscopic surgery, later Noah said it was "more than arthroscopic surgery" but nothing confirmed
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 04:51 PM) Typically after a surgery like that it isn't the year you come back, but the year after that when a player gets back to normal. tifwiw but multiple nba reporters calling into the score have said his knee is bone on bone now, the cartilage is gone. He is what he is now, he will have good and bad days and probably won't come close to what he used to be
  7. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 04:36 PM) I still think Jo might be a solid player in Hoibergs offense. Heads always talks about Fred running the offense through a point forward, and 2013 point center Jo was a lot of fun. That said if getting rid if Jo (and Taj) means they can free up the money for a Danny Green or a Wes Matthews then Im all for it. Not with the current condition of Jo's knees can he be a good point forward.
  8. Those other two officers ran up to him with the quickness when he pulled out that gun
  9. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 02:09 PM) But, our players are still playing and he ain't Some of our players shouldn't be playing, which is the point
  10. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 09:36 AM) Like I said, Dorne continues to be a terrible storyline, but I thought the rest of the episode was good to great. He had 20 men and he destroyed all their supplies, siege weapons, and killed hundreds of horses. That's a pretty damn good attack. Yea but this is Ramsay. I was expecting someone to be kidnapped and flayed as well. It was a good attack, I just expected him to do something evil like he is known to be QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 09:41 AM) Even worse, before Drogon shows up the Faceless Men decided to attack solo, despite having the group surrounded and outnumbered. Clearly the best strategy. They also must have run out of CGI money. Holy crap was that whole scene terrible looking. I mean the stadium/crowd was fine, and some of drogon on his own was fine, but her flying was so bad. 80's tech bad. I can't disagree, the flying was super corny
  11. Yea, I thought Ramsay would have a more sinister attack in mind than setting some tents and horses on fire The gladiator scene was awesome though. Except the part where everyone was in peril and Dany flies away while Mermont, Daario, and Tyrion just watch. The attackers just decided to stop trying I guess
  12. Well it always helps when they other team sucks more
  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 05:39 PM) You're not consdering the most important factor...their respective contracts. im considering that this is pretty much the norm for Rasmus and quite an aberration for Melky. Besides, your argument wasn't about cost, it was about production
  14. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 04:16 PM) I just call things how I see them. The Sox offense is awful, and I'm not afraid to say it. I'd be lying if I thought the Sox could get 3 or 4 runs a game consistently. Oh I know, I read it all the time
  15. Yesterday after the game the Cavs were like "MRI looks fine" and Kyrie was like "mmmyea don't think I agree with that"
  16. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 02:49 PM) Maybe Nolan Ryan is coming out of retirement to pitch tonight. I bet he could still shutout the Sox right now even at his advanced age. you are just a ray of sunshine
  17. Jennings actually seemed ok until he started getting blowout mop up innings. Then he just imploded. IIRC early in the season he came in to a few tough situations and did well, and then had to eat up some innings after Shark or someone else got lit up, and hasnt been the same since
  18. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 12:41 PM) So is pinch hitting to use match ups to your advantage. I thought when the leftie came in they said it was the only leftie in the pen. They did, i heard it as well
  19. QUOTE (SCCWS @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 11:43 AM) We may be adding Josh Phegley to that list. In fairness, Semien has had a good bat but a bad glove iirc Phegley has the exact same issue
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 10:59 AM) Quite a few front office people....hard to pinpoint just one. Brett Anderson is a name that nobody trusted this offseason but he would have been a better move since we would have controlled his rights multiple years, not given up any talent and corned the lefty pitching market. Rasmus would have been a better solution than Cabrera....younger, better defender, takes more walks and more pop. Not to mention Kendrys Morales going to the Royals and Victor Martinez staying might have decided the division. Free agency is always a crapshoot...especially for the White Sox. .238/.304/.490 .235/.278/.504 yea, massive difference there. Those two more walks make all the difference in the world

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 10:28 AM) They can eat sushi, thats a bulls*** myth. I loved watching people's reactions when we would go out for sushi when my wife was really pregnant. Huh, well her OB/Gyn seems to believe in bulls*** myths that the FDA supports
  22. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 4, 2015 -> 09:20 PM) Jump for nothing. Not really. When you get that close to the fence you have to make sure
  23. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 4, 2015 -> 02:18 PM) The only pitcher the organization speaks more highly of than Crain is Brad Penny. When does that happen? I havent read a word about him since Spring Training ended
  24. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 4, 2015 -> 02:09 PM) Not having games 3 and 4 on NBC is stupid. I do not get why the NHL would allow games to be on the sub channel, especially for the Stanley Cup Finals. Hard to pound on the table and make demands when the best Stanley Cup game rating equals the worst NBA Championship game rating
