  1. I listen to them and I rarely hear politics. Politic adjacent comments sure but they aren’t talking politics. Gambling and sports and sports entertainment I think Danny is pretty polarizing and I get why. I didn’t like him at first but he grew on me because I just am not a fan of ESPN format and hosts at all and wouldn’t switch lol. They can definitely have a boys club feeling at times in the show but politics is a very rare subject
  2. lol there isn’t. They aren’t even tabloid you just don’t like them and that’s fine
  3. I would think that one of the two producers of the afternoon score show is a bit more piped in than most. Not a journalist but he definitely finds out s%*# before the normal guy again, I’m not trying to tell people he is awesome and they should listen(except Ron because he would do the same) I’m just saying that both this scenario and Shane finding out through a source aren’t as crazy far fetched as some are making it out to be
  4. Riordan definitely does things that I understand pisses off a lot of people on this site but acting like he doesn’t have sources is funny to me. That guy knows so many people in and around so many sports, I’m sure he has plenty of people giving up info we will never hear. That doesn’t mean he is to be considered a truthful narrator but I also wouldn’t throw out everything he says
  5. Pedro did not deny it, and Sheets said the context was wrong
  6. Supposedly Tanner Banks is the source. So do with that what you will. I don’t know why this story is so crazy because it’s coming from them. This sounds exactly like something Pedro would do
  7. I’ll find out and let you know when I know
  8. The whole “throw from your back foot” conversation he had with Caleb was forced and you could tell Caleb was just nodding saying yes
  9. This show is not making me rethink my position that Flus is not HC material
  10. How about modern baseball. Let’s stop glorifying ages of MLB past and catch up to what is going on NOW
  11. Garbage all around. Schriff continues to lose over and over both in the booth and in public perception. Just stop talking about the score, is it that hard? This one had NOTHING to do with Schriffen
  12. I believe he identified his predecessor as #1
  13. I wouldn’t attempt to cope like this. We have seen plenty of players leave this org in the last couple years that have been much better in another uniform. The Sox forgot everything it takes to maintain an organization in the last 10 years or so, and their instruction and support has been absolute dog s%*#. Kopech will probably be fine
  14. That quote should follow him until the end of time should he pull off creating the worst team record in the history of the game
  15. The guy who loves to call everyone else miserable is the most miserable of them all, for fuckin sure sox are 60 damn games under .500 and your feelings are hurt on this site for saying Eloy can go. FOH
  16. I would say stupid is making a thread about the wondrous accomplishments of Kelenic and then complaining in this thread about stupid fucking s%*#
  17. Probably because of the upfront investment cost. Jerry has famously not invested in the minors in any way so he would have to overhaul all of that and hire actual instructors, then hire a bunch of analysts and create a process. All things he is probably not interested in, despite cost savings down the road like he said last year, he is old and doesn’t have time to wait! Must speed up the process by not spending money and losing 230 games in two seasons, much faster
  18. Meh, You gotta spend a lot to make some if you bet in the front. Not really fun lol. I was waiting until they would take a lead and immediately would take the opponent in the next inning when the odds would change ?
  19. Attendance money definitely makes a difference. Obviously JR is (or was) running the team right now with a inflated budget from the last couple seasons and nobody is coming to the park this year and a lot of last year, and he is fine. But this is reducing and basically cutting off revenue streams, everyone that doesn’t come into the park, doesn’t buy a beer and food and apparel etc. and nobody wants to come next week because this week was so fun. And nobody is paying for parking, and less people are doing the 50/50 raffle it’s just all bad. This is a historic level of shooting yourself in the foot
  20. Schriffen is like “Oh hell yes let’s get the starting pitcher tossed that will help the Sox win, let’s see some fireworks baby”
  21. This is nonsense and you know it is. Be for real talking about this stuff for once. Crochet is in his first full year after Tommy John why would you want to ruin his arm again
