QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 04:08 PM) Not sure if you watch Breaking Bad, but it reminds of the "Fly" episode in S3 where it's just Walt and Jesse in the meth lab for the entire episode trying to kill a fly. I found that episode much less annoying. In fact, I thought it was brilliant. However, when your entire story is 13 episodes, you can't really be burning one for absolutely no story development. Some questions were answered about Linden, sure, but I'm just not sure if I cared to learn them. I'm ready to find out if I'm correct in whom I believe the killer to be.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 03:46 PM) LOL, this Weiner press conference is a train wreck, I can't stop watching. Someone actually asked him how his wife felt. She was "disappointed and unhappy". REALLY?!?!?! The accidental tweeting of his bulge is one of the more epic fails of the digital age.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 02:57 PM) Weird episode of The Killing yesterday. The only thing that pushed the story along was the last like 2-3 minutes. Found it pretty boring really, since all we learned was background information about Linden. Not one single scene with Rosie's family, the Richmond campaign, the teacher or his family, or any other side story. 100% of the episode was Linden, Holder, and Linden's son. That episode was bulls*** and pointless.- Strained right groin for Jake Peavy
QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 02:29 PM) The guy wasn't even supposed to return to MLB until July in the first place! Step off his neck for god's sake! This is his third year with the team and he's made a grand-total of 25 starts.- Strained right groin for Jake Peavy
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 01:45 PM) You guys are seriously overreacting. But oh well. Broken record.- Official 2011 MLB Draft - Day 1

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 02:14 PM) It is interesting how much more we have seen Dunn at 1B with Frank mentioning that as a better way to handle Dunn's transition to DH> I wish the Sox would hire Frank for a job in the dugout. I really think he'd make a strong hitting coach. Hell, if Mark f***ing McGwire can be Tony LaRussa's hitting coach... (I know this is kind of meathead fan s***, but Frank understood hitting and says some incredible things about the mental side of hitting during every interview). Sadly, as long as KW and Ozzie are in charge, that won't even be an option.- Slumps and Adam Dunn: they've met before
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 02:16 PM) At this point, I'd settle for singles from the guy. Get a lighter bat and change your game, Adam. You ain't a long ball threat anymore. Just try to hit the ball. greg775 ups the ante of silly with every post.- 6/6 Game Thread SOX vs Mariners
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 02:08 PM) No Rios again. Konerko also getting a DH-day with Dunn at 1B. I wonder if the wrist is still bothering him? I'd imagine Dunn being at first is more for Dunn than for Paulie.- 2011 Films Thread
Watched Food, Inc. yesterday, and needless to say it was interesting. It's pretty wild that no matter what you buy at the grocery, it's all pretty much coming from the same place.- Congrats to Mrs and Mr BigSqwert

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 09:35 AM) I still don't get it. What does me criticizing our $16-17 million dollar a year pitcher for refusing to acknowledge when his body is betraying him, thus ending up on the DL again have to do with 85% of the board threatening to never watch the NBA again because the Heat are a good bet to win the championship?- Happy Birthday Knightni

QUOTE (danman31 @ Jun 5, 2011 -> 10:05 PM) I thought about it, but I'm pretty pleased with Infamous and Wipeout so far. Infamous is surprisingly fun and Wipeout is a solid racing game considering I didn't have any in my collection. Yeah, I also picked Infamous and WipeOut. WipeOut seemed like a good mindless fire it up for 15 minutes sort of game. LBP seems like a time-sucker of which I have very little of to play video games these days.- Technology catch-all thread

Adam Dunn is probably Kenny Williams' least favorite person in the world. The ultra-dependable, most consistent hitter in the big leagues, who has done it in every location in which he's played (Cincinnati, Arizona, Washington) just straight up s***s the bed for no reason. It makes zero sense.- Strained right groin for Jake Peavy
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 08:08 AM) Basically, we must mock for everything. Makes us feel like big men ourselves! /mocking. Oh, Balta. You so silly.- Strained right groin for Jake Peavy
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 5, 2011 -> 08:11 PM) He's a f***ing idiot, there is no way to possibly defend him at this point re: continued fighting through injury, but I will love to watch people continue to try. I'm over the dude.- 6/5 vs Tigers
What in the f*** did he run for on that play!?!?!? We had a guy at 3rd with 1 f***ing out and Juan's percentages are worthless. Bench that f***ing idiot.- 6/5 vs Tigers

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 4, 2011 -> 06:33 PM) Yeah, so X: First Class was an excellent movie. Totally worth seeing. Probably the best X Men series movie, the only competition it has is X2, and I think I enjoyed this one more. I just got back from it and I cannot recommend this film enough. Wow! It might be my 2nd favorite comic book movie of all-time behind "The Dark Knight". What a fantastic reboot of a previously disappointing version of one of my favorite comics. I don't even know how to put it into words. It was incredibly well acted, moody, beautiful, funny when needed, and I loved Seriously, I've got nothing more to say. I f***ing loved this movie (and so did my wife). - Strained right groin for Jake Peavy
