  1. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 16, 2015 -> 02:51 PM) I think the Frazier deal will sell a ton of tickets just to the casual fan. If they add Upton, this lineup might be the best in the AL (on paper) & sell a lot more tickets, including from me. Toronto says hi.
  2. QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Dec 16, 2015 -> 01:41 PM) Frazier attributes second half drop-off last season to fatigue, playing for bad Reds team https://twitter.com/scotgregor/status/677210667250663424 Interesting. I'd attribute it to regression to the mean.
  3. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 16, 2015 -> 01:09 PM) I need another option. Depends...if we add another impact bat, yes. That is my answer. This. I refuse to participate in this awful poll.
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 16, 2015 -> 12:10 PM) If the Warriors don't win the NBA championship this past year, I'm not sure this deal gets done as is. Probably Trayce's most valuable asset to is his name value. This is just a silly statement.
  5. Todd Frazier feels like every other guy we get. Low average, low on base skills, destined to come here and fall apart. Hopefully he winds up different.
  6. QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 15, 2015 -> 10:12 AM) I think a good rule of thumb is to use spoiler tags the first week it's in the theater. Yes, even in this thread. Nah. After the movie comes out, the point of this thread was to have it be a discussion about what happened. I'm not going to sit on the s***ter and try to read through spoiler tags on this very unfriendly to mobile website. If you haven't seen the movie after its release date, then don't come in to a thread dedicated to talking about that movie.
  7. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 14, 2015 -> 09:57 AM) Yeah one of our cats was doing that for a couple of weeks, turned out to be a bladder infection and she's been great since we got that cleared up. My other cat used to get chronic UT infections and we switched his food - so I know the signs of that. I had to remove the shag rug. The cat no longer pisses or s***s anywhere but the box. The drinkign water out of the toilet is concerning. Hoping he doesn't have feline diabetes or something. We'll see.
  8. I think the official release date is a good "spoilers are a go" date. Anything before then is being a dick. That said, I won't be opening this thread until Saturday at 1:30am when I get out of my late Friday night showing.
  9. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 13, 2015 -> 11:11 AM) you think it is all attention based? That seems to be quite a radical change, maybe something more is bothering him(physically) We will see what the vet says Thursday. He seems fine, physically.
  10. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Dec 13, 2015 -> 03:02 PM) Gould sucks. Weeks ago I said they should trade him (when he was 17/17) and I was told how dumb I am. The mere fact that you suggested anyone trade for a kicker shows how disconnected from reality you are.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 13, 2015 -> 03:00 PM) Cut him I came here specifically to post this. The asshole is the reason we won't make the playoffs this year.
  12. Good Lord would I love to get rid of one of my cats. He used to be awesome, and now he's decided to piss and s*** on the shag rug and scream all night. I never understood why people always got rid of their animals when they had babies. Now I do.
  13. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Dec 11, 2015 -> 08:06 AM) Yup, same one Lebron gets for losing to the warriors Oh, the Bulls get an Eastern Conference Chamions banner??
  14. LOL just the title of this thread is hilarious.
  15. This is just the story of a complete f***ing idiot.
  16. Todd Frazier certainly fits the mold of guys the Sox go after and then completely falls apart. The low contact guys just crush us.
  17. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 10, 2015 -> 08:08 AM) GarPax need t be considered the Executives of the Year in the NBA. Their clear vision that the reason the Bulls were falling short was a guy many were fooled into believing was a good coach was really incredible. Who would have thought bringing back an almost identical roster would result in so much better results just by swapping out a coach who fooled people into believing he had a clue? He ran Jimmy Butler into the ground. The Mayor has him playing an entire minute less per game now. That will probably extend his effectiveness in his career at least a few seasons. God bless GarPax. They have it all figured out. Agreed. I'm glad Gar Forman's lenghtly head coach search narrowing it down to "the only person on the planet who respects Gar Forman" and hiring him has made such incredible differences in the play of the Chicago Bulls. But hey, at least the players love Hoiberg since he doesn't hold anyone accountable. Rose looooooooooooooooves him so much. Oh man, the dark, sad days of 20-win basketball are not too far away.
  18. Here's what we can expect from Lawrie on the White Sox, in my opinion. An OPS in the lower .700s (.725 would be my guess) with solid power and the usual disgusting on-base skills. If he hits .260 with 20 homers, we can't complain. He turns 26 this year, so there's always that chance it all clicks and he becomes the player who was untouchable five seasons ago.
  19. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 09:56 PM) If you're able, do everything you can to go to a native IMAX and not the retrofitted ones that you find in AMC's. The screen is bigger, the sound system is better and native IMAX's use a film projection system as opposed to digital so the IMAX is not only going to be better but what the filmmakers intended. Those AMC "IMAX" screens are a joke.

    2015 TV Thread

I can't believe the lack of Fargo talk. It's easily the best scripted show on television.
  21. QUOTE (SnB @ Dec 8, 2015 -> 10:13 AM) Did you watch this? How is it? We're having the same issue. We have the original trilogy on blu ray, but I don't want to purchase the first 3. All of the pertinent pieces are there and a lot of junk cut out. I just watched it via ps4. It served its purpose to get me to 4, 5, and 6.
  22. Saw them all in the theater. Original trilogy in 98 or so when they relaunched as special editions (had obviously already watched on VHS) and the second trilogy on opening nights.
  23. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 7, 2015 -> 02:52 PM) I continue to be confused about the stories claiming people paying hundreds on the secondary market for opening weekend tickets, as I keep looking at fandango seeing every single theatre having every showing available every day. Those stories have to be BS. I bought two tickets in reserved seating in a perfect spot on Friday. It must be in areas with fewer theaters or something.
  24. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 7, 2015 -> 01:19 PM) Whelp, the wife and I are expecting baby boy #2 in June. The house is about to get more crazy. Congrats!
