The issue here is... we aren't booing Wise per say. He's a fine-enough guy. The issue is you can't boo KW for keeping him on the roster and you can't boo Guillen for keeping him in the lineup. The opportunity does not present itself and I for one don't want to boo them given what they've done. Thus, the only way to relay our feelings about the decision to continually run this dude out there is to boo him. We're booing the idea that is Dewayne Wise, not the person himself.

I know some out there might still be bitter over the whole Peavy situation. Well, he's out for the next 3 months, if not longer, his contract escalates, and we SHOULD get to watch Poreda get his first Major League start at some point soon. Sometimes, the best trades are the ones you don't make, and the poor Padres are really screwed given their ace who makes more than they can afford is out until mid-September at best.
