  1. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...all/playoffs/AL The section on the White Sox is just stupid We have always been the second longest team without a world series And we are NOT CURSED
  2. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 10:21 AM) http://www.weather.com/activities/other/ot...Link_undeclared looks like a 30% chance of a rain delay throughout this game But night games are more fun anyways
  3. QUOTE(Fotop @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 07:20 PM) See I don't really have the luxury of leaving all that early (can't miss class!). I'm leaving South Bend at 12:30...and it usually takes about 1 hr and a half - 2hours to get to the park. I'm just hoping to find any random cash lot, so the more you guys let me know about a few the better the chance i can get a space. Thanks for all the feedback so far. If your leaving that late I would park in the city and take the "L" to the park
  4. My school has the day off for roshashana so I got lucky
  5. If you want good parking come early I left at 12:00 in 2000 and I live in the north suburbs It still took 3 hours to get a spot Otherwise watch out for people who will try and get you into "fake lots"
  6. they made the world series in 1959 and they forgot that too
  7. QUOTE(Whitesoxfan56 @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 08:50 PM) if your gona complain about being there i will take your seats...just kidding have a good time I will It's great to be to the games I'm lucky my dad is friends with a season ticketholder I just don't want the experience ruined by a foul pole
  8. I've got section 156 row 15 they will either be really good or bad Depeneds on how much of a factor that foul pole is
  9. QUOTE(guardianangel00 @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 07:23 PM) I'm just wondering if anyone taped the clincher. I'm here in Florida so I couldn't catch the whole game. I wanna see the celebration, the interviews, etc... Does anyone have it in digital format? You can watch the clinching play and ken harrelson call on whitesox.com
  10. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 07:35 PM) Season tickets I assume. connected to season ticket holder
  11. Great Season I was too young to cherish the 2000 team but I will not forget this This Season has brought down some of the most exciting and heartbraking games I have ever watched In a way it is sad to see the regular season come to an end But lets come into the playoffs and kick some ass Highlights: Pierzynski Game Rowand 3 run homer in San Diego Thomas's brief surge of greatness Voting Pods into allstar game Clinching the Divison and winning 99 games Rally Crede Lowlights: Losing two out of three to the cubs at home Month of August 7 game losing streak
  12. You don't deserve a playoff spot if you're afraid of an oponent
  13. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Sep 29, 2005 -> 08:28 PM) Yes. We play on Tuesday for sure and I'm about 90 percent sure we play on weds, offday thursday and then friday, saturday and sunday. 0 great tuesday sounds awesome
  14. QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 29, 2005 -> 08:23 PM) What do you call a guy who hangs out with musicians? drummer
  15. mlb.com has pages that say both this is actually some what important to me because if it's on the fourth I won't have to miss any school and if it is the fifth I can't go until game two on the sixth, and that would cost me an extra 25 dollars(because I would have to pay to miss a drum lesson) kind of confusing I know either way help is appreciated
  16. i think there are really just two plays that define our season, the rest just blend into greatness(if its before august) -AJ. walkoff vs dodgers-among the greatest games I've ever attended Rally Crede vs Indians-Greatest Game I've ever watched
  17. MVP:Konerko-Just as good as last year with a better team CY:Contreras-never thought I'd say this but he saved our asses second half Most Improved: Garland-No Question Here Rookie: Iguchi-also no question Defensive-Tie between jermaine and rowand, rowand was more steady while jermaine made some great plays Biggest Game: Vs Cleveland last tuesday(I even wrote a paper about watching it)
  18. We cannot waste the beauty of this season through july the hitters need to show some intensity at the plate, and also need to take responsibility for poor clutch hitting and step it up for the stretch run
  19. is it time for podsednik to try an hr normally in this situation, no but we have nothing else going right now
  20. lucky start they didn't give juan a chance to pop out
  21. maybe theres some magic in detroit for the offense tonight
  22. now blums up?? these last two batters should be in the minors no complaints with borchard right now though
