Since it was the State of Illinois who was making the financial decisions and who actually OWNS the park via public bonds, THEY were the ones to make the decision on the structure. Comiskey Park WAS more than a color scheme. However it's gone. In it's place have been 16 years of memories and a World Series title. What you choose to focus on speaks volumes.
