    My final final

    QUOTE(philadelphia sox fan @ Dec 13, 2006 -> 09:30 AM) 30 minutes till my last final of the fall 06 semester. Properties of Sound, which is going to be a b****... Final final? Lucky man.. today was my first of 4 (two of which are Spanish)
  2. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Dec 13, 2006 -> 03:54 PM) How's that closer situation working out for you guys right now? Third base? Who's going to cover CF for 162 games? Oh yeah. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. And what does this have to do with anything?
  3. Considering the market today, and the talent/potential Mastuzaku has, ~17 million is a good deal for Boston (and yea, that includes the posting fee, which isn't involved in the salary).
  4. Thats strange, I was recently sent an email saying that they shipped my pin set. I'm yet to get it (email was on the 8th), but I didn't get anything about how it wasn't available anymore.
  5. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Dec 12, 2006 -> 08:56 AM) No NFL Network on Cable in NJ http://www.nytimes.com/2006/12/08/sports/n...amp;oref=slogin So does Minnesota for me.. considering the fact that I'll be in NJ for that game.
  6. I got to meet Mark Madsen of the T'Wolves tonight after the Jazz/Timberwolves game. Jazz lost (sadly), but it was still pretty cool, especially considering the tickets and postgame passes were free
  7. Frank Zappa - The Madison Panty-Sniffing Festival Rage Against the Machine - War Within a Breath George Harrison - Run of the Mill Frank Zappa - Tinsel-Town Rebellion Captain Beefheart - Sweet Sweet Bulbs Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble - Crossfire Metallica - Tuesday's Gone Los Lobos - Viking Mitch Hedberg - Business Cards Frank Zappa - The Idiot Bastard Son 3 Zappa tunes.. can't say I'm surprised.
  8. Pratt takes the lead with ~7 minutes left.. I'm impressed.
  9. QUOTE(Texsox @ Dec 7, 2006 -> 11:05 PM) Which of his positions did you most identify with? Iraq? Environment? Education? I agreed with most of his positions (immigration, abortion, stem cell, etc.). (as I type this, a tie is made for second )
  10. My vote went to the man sitting in 2nd place right now.
  11. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Dec 7, 2006 -> 09:43 PM) Is that the Heroin addict? Yep. I, for one, hope he does well and succeeds.

  13. QUOTE(iamshack @ Dec 7, 2006 -> 10:21 PM) Someone has to be the voice of reason. Look, I am not big on rich guys whining. But Gil Meche just got $45 million. Enough said. Alot of teams are going to regret their actions of the past month. Let's be glad we aren't going to be one of them. $55 million actually. But yea..
  14. "It's going to be interesting" That for sure.
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 10:25 PM) Lingering injuries for a pitcher is completely different than the injuries Rocco had. Rocco is also a world-class athlete who will develop power as he gets older. Won't hear me disagree.. was just saying though
  16. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 10:23 PM) Often injured huh? Two freak injuries doesnt exactly make him oft-injured. But for Mark Prior...
  17. QUOTE(striker62704 @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 10:06 PM) I like this trade. We get a future starter, a bullpen arm and save money. No one like us getting Thornton last year and he was our best bullpen arm. I have complete faith in Kenny and Coop and now its time to site back and let them work their magic. Thats plain wrong IIRC. I seem to remember people being indifferent towards it (could be wrong though)
  18. QUOTE(BDavisFutureHOF @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 10:04 PM) s*** -- do we even know for sure if Gio is involved? Yes. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2689303
  19. QUOTE(SABR Sox @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 10:03 PM) Two Words: Barry Bonds. One word: Suicide.
  20. QUOTE(AWhiteSoxinNJ @ Dec 6, 2006 -> 10:02 PM) So Rowand isn't in the deal? Nope
  21. Please KW, make another move soon so this horrible feeling goes away.
  22. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Dec 5, 2006 -> 10:56 PM) UAB beat Minnesota tonight 88-81 in double OT. UAB really should have blown the Gohphers out of the gym, but for some reason they slowed their pace and started playing exclusively half court basketball, allowing Minnesota to claw back into it. Minnesota just kept hanging around and even had a couple of key possessions where they could have had big momentum swings, but couldn't make it happen. Eventually, their lack of depth killed them as their two guards fouled out and they had no real scoring option beyond McKenzie. I don't see Minnesota faring real well in the Big Ten this year (earth shattering news, I know).
