  1. Sure, but outside of sports how many industries exist where you lose money annually, but also keep appreciating every single year? You might be able to front run losses for a while, but eventually you'd go under.
  2. If he has an agreement to sell, the control question is already answered. I think most people are using "sell" as a shorthand for "when Jerry no longer is the White Sox decision maker" and not drawing a deep distinction between the physical sale date of his shares vs the actual deeding of control to another person or entity.
  3. And 99.9% of the White Sox fan base would still rather take a chance on him vs what we have had for the last 45 years.
  4. Funny since I was mostly on a plane, but I love your anger
  5. And you were just crapping on everyone who didn't want to pay to watch exactly this.
  6. But unlike you, his hand is on the trigger and not himself to Getz pron.
  7. Most suburbs exist because enough rich people moved somewhere to say they don't live in Chicago.
  8. Granted I follow the White Sox closer than anyone, but it feels like they revel in their ignorance while other organizations look for things like this as an edge. We are trying to recreate the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers, meanwhile the 2025 Dodgers version runs laps around us as one of our guys reads pitching for dummies.
  9. Crochet is either going to be healthy and awesome, or hurt and not effective. You mentioned Sale, Verlander, and Cole in other posts, and forgot about them all of the sudden. Rodon is a fun example because he has been injured so many different times that might well be diminished stuff, and also a great example of what one or two great seasons can bring you on the free agent market, when you have superstar potential with a major injury history.
  10. No, no, no everything is fine. Everything has been fixed.
  11. If he is healthy, he isn't putting up a 2 WAR season.
  12. If he got through this year without getting hurt, he is looking more like a Cole type contract instead of a Glasnow one.
  13. Yeah, I will be the first to saying it. Even after coming this close to what it would take to extend Garrett, I am also glad we don't have to keep him healthy going forward. Give me the return we got, plus the ability for FNG to spend post Jerry.
