MJ wasn't even brought in under JR.

Yes. Jerry Reinsdorf was one of the primary reasons MLB lost the 1994 season. You being Jerry's biggest fan doesn't change that. Honestly the true derangement is the people who think he cares about Sox fans despite his 45 years of public statements otherwise.

When you have no facts, this is what you need to resort to. Jerry was main hardliners in the 1994 loss of the season. He's done it before, which is the best indicator on if he would do it again.

“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
- “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
That's about where I put the Sox staying long term at 35th based on the actions of the two ownership interests.- White Sox - Injury Tracker
Nature always finds a way.- “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
The idea is to capture the "experience" audience, that they have never been able to capture. The people who work in the area (not too far south of the financial district) plus a huge boom in residential living in that area over the last couple of decades, plus make it easily accessible by multiple lines as described a few posts ago. Not only could they capture game revenue, but much like the Cubs, capture a share of all of the game day revenue through their own clubs, bars, restaurants, casino, etc. The Sox offer nothing but the game when it comes to revenue capture, and they sit dead last in MLB for total revenues for a reason. As I have mentioned before, there will be plenty of parking in the area for those who still partake, but it will be more integrated with other entertainment. It won't just be miles of parking lots.- “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
They will almost certainly extend the lease by a number of years. There is no way without a plan in hand and moving forward TODAY that they could be ready to move by the end of this decade. Guessing that number is somewhere between 3-5 years, depending on the depth of the railroad work that needs to happen.- **Water-Cooler Thread (TV stuff)**
With the Vince Gilligan series there too, you might be right- At what point do we start to believe?
So you are now concerned about the boner of others? Hmmmm- “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
All of which would be useful to the White Sox project in the area, or on this site.- “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
The Sox are somewhere around a 2nd to 3rd standard deviation around leaving 35th and Shields. They do not want to be there, and are making moves behind the scenes to get out. Even this specific project doesn't happen, the White Sox have a vision, and are looking to leave.- Trade Ideas/Rumors/Proposals Thread
If you are going to add, act like a real MLB franchise and spend. Don't waste your assets until you have to do so. The AL Central is probably the most open division in baseball, and if you do this right, you can win it on a year in and year out basis. The only other team who can spend is Detroit.- “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
This is 100% demonstrably false. He 100% went down there and asked for money for a new stadium at the 78. You have zero evidence to back up anything you are saying here, in fact the reporting all centers around Jerry asking for stadium money.- “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
It is obvious to anyone who isn't an ostrich that this is GOING to happen. If they are already this deep into landswaps and projects, they have a plan.- 6/16Games
- At what point do we start to believe?
They make pills for that. Might perk your day up, so to speak.- 6/16Games
Someone remind me, was this the guy who fell out of the somewhere like the Dodgers/Padres pool, or was this someone who was signed with us all along? If he wasn't the guy we grabbed from someone else, who was it?- “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
And this also happened. https://wgntv.com/sports/white-sox/report-reinsdorf-to-seek-1-billion-in-public-money-from/- “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
Which is exactly why he didn't go to Springfield and didn't ask lawmakers for a billion dollars. How gullible are you? - “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
