  1. If we have learned anything from the moden political scene, it is much easier to invalidate people versus actually doing the work to debate fact based opinions.
  2. He was physically maxed out and picked for his proximity to the majors. Then he ended up being perpetually injured and unable to get any better.
  3. To be fair, you are chasing people anyone around who questions Acuna over Montgomery as if you are obsessed at correcting anything that questions the White Sox decision making, pretending that nothing has any consequences when people can see differently right in front of them.
  4. The fallacy that somehow one billionaire is better than another is kind of laughable. I think Sox fans just want one that isn't afraid to spend some of that inheritance. No one has any delusions that Ishbia is some kind of nice guy or something.
  5. Oh I bet his magic wand is still in his pocket, if you are that worried about it...
  6. I can see how his defense got bad attention as he was coming through the system, because nothing about what he does is traditional. But I think most mistook non-standard for bad and figured he would have to change to standard in order to be good. Well his results at the major league level speak for themselves. Dude is a top notch SS. Hell, maybe they should teach some of the guys what Colson is doing, as it seems to work.
  7. Being an all-state level three sport athlete who could have gone D1 in literally any of the three sports means this is the first time in his life he has dedicated more than a few months at a time to a single sport. He doesn't have clean baseball actions, because he was also a D1 level QB, and D1 level SG. You can definitely see his football actions in his throwing style, and you can see his guard work in his footwork. It isn't ideal, but he makes it work better than most SSs who can play a textbook SS.
  8. 1984 isn't just a memorable year for Sox fans...
  9. The locals don't want to pay for it, surprise.
  10. * as long as he gets his cut of the profits. Otherwise f*** you.
  11. I forget, how much Bridgeport consultation did Jerry do when he had a stadium built in Tampa?
  12. Jerry is also a greedy SOB PEI guy. Literally he put together private equity to lead a group to buy the White Sox. In fact he has never had enough money up to be the majority owner, demonstrating it was mostly private equity he used to run the White Sox for the last 45 years.
  13. Honestly, it was my mistake for expecting depth and not just blind loyalty.
  14. It is literally the most empty attempt at analysis I have ever read on Soxtalk.
  15. So anyone who is slumping after being great for a long period of time, th8s is who they are now, because it is the most recent. Wild.
  16. It's long past it.
  17. Can you show his stats from now are relevant as opposed to his other 300 PAs?
  18. Every day he has symptoms means at least two extra days of recovery.
  19. There is no boring act in sports than the super intense grindy guy who plays so hard because he loves the game soooo much. It's almost always fake af. Plus PCA is a dumbass.
  20. Graphic showed it was 0.4 inches above the zone
  21. I hear the Spiders are pretty tough this year.
  22. They have the entire Detroit metro to themselves, plus the nearest teams are Chicago and Cleveland
  23. I always find it wild that people are upset by people having stupid fun.
  24. Short also works.
