At what point do we start to believe?
You troll people all day, every day. Try actually enjoying this instead of whatever weird Quixote quest you are on.

At what point do we start to believe?
The White Sox are in first place, and every single thread is the same two people bitching about things that happened years ago. Good god, will you just STFU and actually enjoy it?

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
Teel will be hitting his arb years by the time Lackey would be getting to the majors.

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
Specifics are different than generalities. If there are specifics that make them different, it changes the equation, and it might not mean they are tied. Personally, I am not taking the guy to move him off of catcher, but I also don't want a 120-130 games a season #1 pick either.

Doesn't matter. SS gives you more flexibility

I am going to say this again. You can never have enough SSs. I don't care if you have Derrick Jeter on your roster, if you can get Arod, you bring him in and find a place to play him. Hell, Colson is currently out with a back injury. In 2 to 3 years, could it worsen? I refuse to hear that we can consider a SS because we have too many SSs. You can never have enough SSs, just like you can never have enough pitching. You can like Lackey better, but BPA all day, and if it is a tie, the SS wins.

Breaking News: ron883 totally vindicated - Braden Montgomery gets called up
Honestly? I feel pretty solid about the first two being Roch and Thome.

Just like there is no such thing as too much pitching, there is no such thing as too many SS's.

Hagen has to built a bridge for himself and NOT walk over it.

To buy or sell...
Unless you are giving up multiple Top 5, plus additional Top 10 guys, I don't think it happens. Say something like Bonemer, Hagen and Fauske, and a tailend filler piece.

Breaking News: ron883 totally vindicated - Braden Montgomery gets called up
Between this and the huge traffic jam on the 40, this seems rushed, but hopefully he doesn't burn.

It's been a ride to go from the healthiest team in baseball, to one of the worst. Of course LAD just spends over it as if they planned for it. We get "who could have known".

To buy or sell...
Look at the top 5 to 10 top prospects on this team and then ask yourself which ones, and how many of them you are willing to give up. That's going to give you the answer if you are buying or selling. -If you aren't willing to give up guys in the top 5, you aren't getting a top bat or pitching. -If you aren't willing to give up guys in the top 10, you aren't getting a starting position player, midrotation starter, or top reliever.

Let him force the issue. This season is found money, no need to rush the guy.

White sox culture
4 DAYS later you respond, and yet you still don't see it. You literally cannot walk away. Again, take your own advice. All of the lectures and BS you love to drop on everyone, yet you still can't see it in yourself. It's been years of this. Seriously, find something you actually enjoy in life, and quit worrying about what everyone else has to say.

“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
Hey @tray. As you leave your moronic passive-aggressive laugh reacts, you might want to try actually paying attention to information instead of reveling in your own ignorance when someone gives you an answer to your question. Or just keep proving to Soxtalk you have no idea what you are talking about.

For my job I could double to triple my salary if I were willing to go into an office every day in Chicago or especially NYC. I have plenty of house, a yard, I am a mile from Lake Michigan which I can park at any day for free and see a sunset in my favorite bar on the beach. There are reasons I never left. The no commute part is definitely worth giving up some money for, as is the housing vs any other market around those metro areas. There is a reason I never moved to Illinois despite commuting there for 15 years. - “The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
