“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
It is laughable that you think Jerry Reinsdorf, Mr PE Real Estate King himself, isn't 110% on board with this if it is happening under his watch. He'll I am waiting for Ludacris himself to pop out and confirm.

Do you think Schriff will be back next season?
100% here.

Schiff didn't even know who Bill Veeck was or how to pronounce his name. You can enjoy him if you like, but stop making stuff up.

8/21 GT. Sox/Mets. 6:40. A Little Less Conversation, A Little More Winning
I am not kidding. You used to be this odd little happy go lucky guy. Now everything sets you off, and if anything gets said to you about it, you drop into this spiral of everything you are going through instead of hearing anything about it. You are obviously going through stuff and are screaming for attention and help, as it is always front and center. There are ways to get help. You were never this person. Talk to someone.

You have lost your mind.

“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
Now this is what you have a chance at achieving.

Looking back it wasn't "legal" that was used, my bad. The larger point, besides the one word, is correct. You aren't going to NIMBY away a project that a railroad wants. Maybe you get a concession or two for window dressing, but the larger project WILL happen if groups like Metra, BNSF, Amtrak, etc want it to happen. The law was quite literally written by them, for them. Any anger gymnastics are a waste.

All of the discussions about "legal review" etc are completely and utterly a wasted circle jerk.

“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
Which also goes a long way towards neighborhood effects conversations.

Honestly? A few of you need to read up on property law and how much influence the railroads had on things like immement domain and the legal authority has to seize private property and call it "improvement" so it's perfectly legal. It's been codified by the Supreme Court in recent decades too. If a railroad wants to do something it is legally near impossible to stop.

Bro, this is Chicago. You get the aldermen on board, nothing else matters.

Do you think Schriff will be back next season?
This, exactly.

Amtrak wanted more space, by all other reports.

With the developments in the area over the last 25 to 30 years, more and more parking options have been added, and I am sure there will be some complexes coming in with it.

Especially if this team stays good.

Castillo to Sox for Dominguez, Boston Smith, Nolan Jones per Passan
The overlap of their issues is very interesting.

That and no one is sure if he has a defensive position. His valuation is completely different as a catcher vs a left fielder, vs a DH. Though observing the change in tone towards his skill set now that he has been trade is always entertaining. Now people can be honest about his limitations.

We can only hope.

This is the difference between having Jerry and Ishbia who know what they are doing in the realm of big dollars and real estate... and the Bears.

Yes, this exactly.

8/20 GT - Braves @ White Sox (1:10pm CT)
You running around telling people to STFU isn't sarcasm, and will not be treated as such.

8/20 GT - Braves @ White Sox (1:10pm CT)
I hope to God the players and/or management aren't fragile enough to worry about coaching advice from fans. If they are, they deserve whatever happens.

I swear the people screaming ENJOY IT the loudest are too damned busy screaming at everyone else to enjoy this, to actually fucking enjoy themselves.
