  1. With his salary coming up year over year, his first full healthy MVP type year, and if you REALLY thought this was a full rebuild, there was no more valuable player for the Sox on the open market at that time.
  2. Well at least he hasn't been talking about how easy the AL Central is to beat.
  3. And yet he didn't trade Luis Robert at peak value in 2023. He's either an idiot, or he's lying. Pick one.
  4. Realistically? This. Unless we are going to spend a little to get an actual flip candidate, there are plenty of guys who could cover those innings.
  5. Apparently he turned down 6/170 for this.
  6. A media scrum with only selected media. Huh.
  7. Fitting. The losingest manager of all time
  8. I think he just reversed the 4 and the 9.
  9. dont' give the rotation any ideas.
  10. You should have just stopped there.
  11. If someone were to tell me that we have a worse year in 2025, than 2024, it isn't hard to design scenarios where that happens. The COMPLETE lack of front end pitching is a great place to start. Especially when Robert gets traded, it is also not hard to imagine the defense and offense being worse as well. I know we are counting on reversing some of the bad "luck" from last year, but I can't help but feeling that a lot of the bad luck from last year was just a historic collection of bad players being bad, and the models not being able to calculate an outcome that far off of "normal" bad.
  12. You, of all people, said this? After you LITERALLY shoehorned the Dodgers into this conversation about Ky Bush? hahahahahahahahahaha
  13. Today we are paying for a complete lack of player development ever since the last time we had a top ranked farm system. Ordinarily, most teams can back fill a roster that will lose 110 games without needing help from the outside to get up to that few of wins. The Sox don't have that right now.
  14. So what did the Dodgers do to cover for this lack of pitching? Did they trade young prospects to get more middle relievers?
  15. Hey, I'd be happy with .500 ball after the last few years.
