Definitely not your worst idea. As I said previously, if the Sox are going to bury these guys, might as well use them to get a potentially useful piece if they are just going to be buried here and waste a roster spot.

In all of your ramblings, the Colas thing actually makes some sense. The franchise has buried him and refuses to play him, so what's the point of having him on the roster in the first place?

I also think that Robert is getting dumped for the warmest pile of puke this spring, but the problem was created over the winter, not today. It's the absurd 40 man management that is the issue here.
