  2. It wouldn't matter, JR wouldn't pay them anyway
  3. From the Critic in the thread about teens drinking Grandpas ashes...
  4. Damn I hope so. If the Randy Johnson stuff doesn't work out, I would love to see the Sox jump on Radke. Getting him away from the Twins would be worth it all by itself.
  5. Are you sure about that? The Trib is actually reporting that it is Sandy Jr.
  6. Interesting on the divide between fans and players
  7. I don't know if he got his act together if he is throwing beers at basketball players... He sounds like an alcoholic, which there is never a getting over. If you have a problem with alcohol you are always in danger when you drink. If he is drinking, he really didn't learn his lesson. Maybe he just got better at not getting caught?
  8. Yeah it is kinda hard to feed people when people are suicide bombing convoys with supplies, and beheading the very aid workers trying to deliver them.

  10. I still see some Ben Wallace-type desire in Tyson, in a whole lot bigger body. Eddy doesn't care enough to reach any of his potential. I guess I woulnd't be all that upset if both of them got dealt, but I can see us regretting Tyson a whole lot more.
  11. I'd rather send out Eddy. At least Tyson gives a s*** most of the time.
  12. Yeah it is good to see him at least get some job. Especially since it seems teams were only interviewing him to fulfill their quotas.
  13. And if you can't jump to the past with your 20-20 hindsite vision and fix things, you also suck.
  14. No surprise at all. The 2004 payroll was about $13 million over the 2003 payroll. Hmmm coincidence?
  15. There are already NFL rumors with Ferenez all over them...
  16. The league sounds really cool, but it is going to be way to involved for me. I was thinking it would be more like fantasy baseball, but the sheer amount of detail that is being bantered about would be too much for me. I don't want to drag everyone else down. Have fun guys, it sounds awesome.

And I would still argue that biblically, homosexuality is no different than any other sin. Priests by their very nature are sinners. If we expected them to have no sins, there would be no elders. The focus on homosexuality dispite the other sins the church condones borders on herocy. The church now condones divorce despite the very obvious biblical verses against it. I honestly believe the schisms over the subject are taking away from God's ultimate message of love.
  18. Hey guys, I am going to have to drop my team. The more I look at this, the more I am not going to be able to give it the time it needs. So the Cubs are available. Just go ahead and delete me. Sorry guys, but this is better than me doing a half assed job.
  19. They tried that in the preseason, and still no one cares
  20. See to me this is all circular logic that refuses to accept any blame. Gee if Ron Artest's mom didn't have any sex, Artest would have never gone into the stands. Everyone should be responsible for their own actions in this. Artest made the decesion to go into the stands, no one else made it for him. Heck players have had beers spilled on them for generations now, it doesn't mean that gives the player a free ticket to kick his ass. And on the otherside fo the coin, just because you buy a ticket to a game, it doesn't mean you are in some kind of a rules free zone. As I said before, the NBA players have gotten their justice doled out. Now I hope to see the police and the Pistons do the right thing to the fans, and both have their tickets revoked, and to see them charged with every applicable law there is.

This is another great opportunity to plug "Consipracy" Sunday nights at 9pm CST on the History Channel. This weeks episode was the the death of Princess Di. This is a must see show for anyone who is into this kind of stuff.
  22. Easy. The team can refuse to ever sell him a ticket again.
  23. If you really want to join, you can take the Cubs. I am playing, but if people REALLY want to play, I would give up my team.
  24. I agree with that 100%. Revoke his season tickets, and charge him with every criminal offense possible. He is at least as responsible as Artest is. And hopefully the tickets belong to his company, and he loses his job just like Artest basically has(well for a year anyway). Honestly I am pissed off that the Pistons haven't made a bigger deal about these people losing their tickets and being procecuted. Fans like that are part of the problem in today's sports scene. Artest and the rest of them got their punishments, now it is time for the idiot fans to get theirs as well.
