  1. That dated all of the way back to when Ortiz was with the Twins and would kick our asses. Ortiz pwns us.

  3. Can we please let the Red Sox thing go again This has been a great thread, and I really don't feel like sorting through 17 pages of posts to separate out the BS.

  6. Now is that a good thing or a bad thing?
  7. All I have to say is good luck Rocky. I liked the guy and all, but I don't want to see him here.
  8. Fields would have to be a PTBNL, he was just drafted and can't be traded until a year after his drafting. To me that would reduce the odds of him being in a deal.
  9. It got Gaged... move along, nothing to see here
  10. It sounds like best case scenario is that he will be ready for the beginning of the season. Worst case is another month to six weeks past that point. IMO when you are talking about a 270ish pound guy with foot/ankle problems, it is extremely optimistic to think he will be on the short end of that scale.
  11. Exactly. They did it for Albert Belle, and they were led to believe that they were going to do it for ARod, there is precidence for this kind of thing. It does fit both historical Sox moves, and the stated main objective of KW for this winter.
  12. Was I the only one thinking "if it does not fit, you must aquit?"

  14. All 3 of them deserve it. The Sox are a very lucky team with their broadcast teams (well 3 out of 4 ain't bad )

  19. Too bad it wasn't Qasim Mitchell :headshake
  20. Muscles may be bigger, but things like tendons and ligaments have a lot more stress put on them. There is no real way to strengthen the the tendons and ligaments. There is also no way to get bones more dense so they won't break. Also we know how to diagnose nuerological injuries such as concussions, which would have been let go in the past.
  21. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6435263/ I had no idea the direct economic impact was so high.
