Oh and I did forget... I am the oldest. I am 30, younger bro is 26, and properly raised as a Sox fan.
  2. NO way that sucks. I have no desire to sit at Comiskey with snow on the ground
  3. So does that mean they play in SF?

It is also the first time that Aaron has been the starter for an entire 162 game season. It isn't that big of a deal.

Twins aren't born at the exact sametime. One has to come out first.
  6. A little Mt St Helen's flava
  7. Heck if he played for the Yankees, he'd be writing his HOF acceptance speech.
  8. Actually each ML team sends some players to a particular team. Usually a team is made up of 4 (IIRC) different teams players. They are sent usually to either get IP/AB or work on specific skills ie learning a new position, new pitch, bunting, stealing, etc. The Sox are sending guys to a team in AZ, I know there is a thread on here somewhere about the specific players being sent.
  9. Damn there are some big names down there. Rex you are the AA guy, what do you think of Barfield, Weeks, Fielder, Matre, Reyes, and company? Are all of these guys as good as advertised.
  10. A little more nuetral info from MSNBC http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6144991/
  11. Thanks for the info Jim. Now I just have to find a dictionary...
  12. I have got a laugh out of the replies in this thread. It is OK to presume that Bush started a war for oil, but when France Germany and Russia didn't want a war because they lost their same presumed profit opportunities, excuses are made for them. I would have thought greed was greed, guess not. It is pretty well know that some pretty big companies in FR, GER, and RUS, were owed some pretty big money by Saddam and Co in Iraq, and those companies have been laying big pressure on their governements to insure that that money isn't lost. That is the big reason when Bush went to these countries to excuse lots of their forgein debts, they hit a brick wall.
  13. So what? If he is third in chances (stay with me here, this is kinda complex) that means he is getting to (still with me?) the 3rd most balls of any LF. So unless there is some kind of crazy vortex (vast right wing conspiracy maybe?) that aims baseballs right at Carlos Lee's feet, I would have to say (I know this is a stretch) that means he has some range.
  14. Too many injuries, no Dave Duncan= no thanks.
  15. Are you telling me that the Sox are going to be able to get a pitcher of that caliber on the free agent market for that price, without getting out bid by the pitching starved/high spending Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, Orioles and company? Tell me you know better than that. Geesh Bartlolo Colon got 4 years at over $13 mil a year. And the Yankees weren't even pushing that hard. Doesn't that tell you something?
  16. Soxtalk's b****es in da house!!!
  17. I had thought he was gone too, but to bring him back to the team on the last weekend of the season, isn't something you do with a guy you are dumping. You just dump him and keep him out of the clubhouse.
  18. I don't believe anyone has mentioned Robbie yet... This was on White Sox.com
  19. Its time for a song.... na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey, good bye!
  20. Braves strand a leadoff triple at 3rd in the 3rd inning
