  1. I would feel better about this if literally anything was given as a response. No talking head explained it, no one covered his absence, nothing was clarified. In the Sox-verse ignoring something is step one to see if anyone demands more. We didn't even get a Chicago media puppet out to say something at all.
  2. If you didn't see this, watch it. It is insane.
  3. Hopefully he is as good as his ego seems to think.
  4. Considering how many relievers have been injured and/or sucked, sticking too long with staters isn't a big surprise.
  5. I would rather not see the floor show and instead see him pitch well.
  6. Much less than quitting on a team in the middle of the season would. Of course this is from a fan base that won't quit following the team expecting the guy actually drawing a paycheck from the team to quit.
  7. I am sure Lynn's knees are still bothering him, but it would be nice instead of screaming, he just tried pitching better instead.
  8. Rick negotiates contracts, Kenny flips tables. Everyone knows their roles.
  9. Nice to see Tony has lost the clubhouse to the point where Kenny needs to do this.
  10. The idea that you have to destroy stuff to be a leader is one of the dumbest things that still remains from the 20th century. It means you can't handle some adversity like a damned adult. Grow up.
  11. Hopefully they give him a cell phone with pre-recorded messages on the other end so he can't do any damage. "Yes Tony, kids these days are awful" "Sorry Tony, I can't go on a beer run with you, its 8:30 am" "I know the unwritten rules of baseball aren't written down for a reason" "We'll look into that"
  12. You know those times where you really, really want to be wrong, but it just won't happen.
  13. Players also make sense as they are probably fed up with the garbage and lack of leadership by the manager in the clubhouse.
  14. Getting a starting goalie plus moving up 15 slots into the first round? Seems like a solid step up to me
  15. It's not hard to stop and look at this last press story as something that is the final straw in the clubhouse with a team that is already having some major problems.
  16. Stone has never known when to shut up. It's what got him out of the Cubs organization.
  17. This I would agree with. He is also arrogant enough to think it would work.
