Yoan Moncada has not struggled. Again, he is a top 8 3B in all of baseball. Repeating a lie doesn't make it true.

Looking at the Yankees roster, the last thing they need is a RH 3B. They have both Donaldson and LeMahieu who are both already better hitters and fielders at 3rd. A glove first OF would actually be the most helpful for their construction.

You literally just made the argument that prospects struggle. Yoan Moncada is not a prospect. Jake Burger is. You got anything more than HR and RBI from one year yet?

And yet he is STILL one of the top 3B in baseball. Because there is more to this game than Homers and RBI.

Moncada is statistically one of the best 3B in all of baseball. Period. End of story. In Jake's 110 PAs through the last couple of seasons, he has a 0.1 bWAR, and a 0.3 fWAR. Even if you multiply those times 5 to make a full season, a year of Jake Burger equals about a month and a half of Yoan.. even this poor diminished Yoan.

For the record, expand that sample size out to 500 ABs for season, and you get 15 homers and 50 RBI. But yes, let me hear more about those 1950s stats being the only one that matters..
