The Vikings signed K Ryan Longwell, LB Ben Leber, and RB Chester Taylor. Also, the Broncos re-signed RB Ron Dayne to a 3-year deal.

I remember reading that the plan may be to get Thome two starts a week at first base but I don't really see that happening. I see maybe one start a week at the most.

There will probably be some relievers available by the end of ST. If the Sox decide to keep Gload on the team, Borchard could be the trade-bait to land another reliever.

Elton Brand for Tyson Chandler is still one of the worst trades in Bulls history. Screw talking about Chandler's potential. Brand is a stud and Chandler was supposed to be at least as good as him, if not better, and the fact is that he isn't no matter how anyone tries to swing it.

Mackowiak for the OF and 3B, Cintron for SS and 2B, and Ozuna for 2B and pinch runner.
