  1. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Jul 23, 2010 -> 01:10 PM) For those who have facebook. I wish I had more money!! Pics from ay Cutler Foundation Charity Cruise. http://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?a...mp;id=604459688 eenie meenie miney moe I was supposed to go to this.
  2. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 26, 2010 -> 06:37 PM) So they will finish with a .530 W%, 43 wins? I would imagine he means they'd score 30 more points per game. Which is obviously dumb.
  3. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 26, 2010 -> 06:04 PM) "Without me, without Boozer, they're a .500 ball club. And with the guys that they added, if they add me, I think we'll be 30 better" Bulls to win 71 games. He said 30 points better.
  4. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 25, 2010 -> 11:24 AM) Says the guy who likes Darko (although I agree with you on TT). I wish Darko would play in the NBA like he did for the Serbian National Team. He'd have been worthy of that 2nd pick. Either way, I'd take Darko over Tyrus. Size, defense, shot-blocking, and he's actually got some skill offensively down low, especially passing. Doesn't rely entirely on athleticism.
  5. QUOTE (longshot7 @ Jul 22, 2010 -> 01:33 PM) I don't think so.

    QUOTE (SuperSteve @ Jul 21, 2010 -> 09:25 PM) I was going to say, if your started at 250 it'd be a terrific job but if you started at 215, you'd be going the opposite way haha. I am also trying to lose some weight. I'm down roughly 10-15 pounds since I started working out heavy in March. I have a really hard time with pizza and donuts though. You'll have to keep us updated. I got hooked up with a free personal trainer 3 days a week, which is huge. She knows me well and she told me she's going to whoop me into shape again, which is awesome. Here's the program I'm going to be trying to stick to: strength training 3 days a week with personal trainer hard cardio 3 days a week running, swimming, boxing, etc. 1 rest day a week where I'll still probably do golf or basketball I'm down 3 pounds since I started. Next weigh-in is tomorrow. And pizza is my greatest weakness too. I can say no to just about anything but pizza is REALLY hard for me.
  8. I believe the Cell uses Kentucky Bluegrass. I believe each ballpark and head groundskeeper is in charge of the kind of grass.
  9. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jul 21, 2010 -> 09:29 PM) I'd hate to see my favorite player go to the Knicks, but it'd sure be fun to watch. There seems to be a lot of f***ing collusion going on in the NBA right now.

    QUOTE (SuperSteve @ Jul 19, 2010 -> 08:35 PM) What weight did you start at? 230 The heaviest I've ever been was 235 over the winter, but I'm also 6'6. I've been losing weight slowly since the spring and toning up a littler, but now I'm really going to step it up. I'm down 3 pounds already in the last few days. Had an awesome workout today. Got a hookup with a free personal trainer once a week for the rest of the summer too.
  11. Anyone got the new iPhone 4 yet? I'll probably be picking it up in a couple weeks. Nevermind, went back and read some of the thread. I'm excited. I've had the 3G for a while now and the OS 4.0 update just killed the phone completely. I use that thing so much and since the update it's just been slow as s***.
  12. Wow, I really think we're short-changing Konerko calling him just "above-average." He doesn't have the greatest range, but he's phenomenal over at 1B.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 20, 2010 -> 11:29 PM) Even if you only get half of a season out of him, you are still getting 25 PPG in those games. No one else is going to bring anything like that. McGrady will never average 25 ppg in the NBA again. Unless he's on the worst team in the league as the 1st option. Even then it's not likely. He did it 5 straight years in his prime, and not once since 04-05. He averaged 9.4 ppg last year in New York. New York. The New York Knicks.
  14. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jul 20, 2010 -> 11:12 PM) I remember this one guy that said there was NO f***ING WAY Lebron was going to Miami. This post is full of win.
  15. Wow. The NHL rejected the Kovalchuk contract.
  16. QUOTE (Knackattack @ Jul 20, 2010 -> 10:22 PM) Makes me interested. Werth in RF, Q! to DH? It'd be awesome, but from what I've read, they are dangling Werth to the team who can offer them the best SP. Unless they REALLY liked Hudson, I don't see a fit.
  17. QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Jul 20, 2010 -> 02:41 PM) You can interpret the movie a bunch of different ways.
  18. QUOTE (KipWellsFan @ Jul 20, 2010 -> 03:26 PM)
  19. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 20, 2010 -> 02:58 PM) His OBP is padded by HBP, don't get too excited. He doesn't have a great control over those. His walk rate is still low. I'm aware. Either way, I don't care how he gets on base as long as he does.
  20. QUOTE (Paint it Black @ Jul 20, 2010 -> 11:18 AM) THIS. You already have Pierre being awful at the top with a .329 OBP why kill the top of the order more with Vizquels not much better .333 OBP. You know what's scary though? If someone told you before the season Pierre had a .329 OBP, one would probably assume he was hitting .290ish. He's at .258. If his average continues to rise, hopefully we'll see that OBP move up too.
  21. QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Jul 20, 2010 -> 01:09 PM)
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 20, 2010 -> 01:55 PM) Frankly, the Cell is a much better hitters' park than Atlanta, for example. Has less to do with parks than it does the leagues.
