But as someone who pretty much refuses to consider any album after Lamb Lies Down as even being a Genesis album (and Selling England By the Pound is in my top 5 favorite rock albums of all time), I'd love to see them reunite and actually do something in the studio and not just a one-off live thing.

I'm assuming the real issue is the insensitivity – very likely inadvertent (sp?) - of the boss emailing the secretary about something so mundane when she was away attending to the illness, death, and funeral of her mother. He probably should have realized she was out, or at least that's the reaction the secretary seems to have had about it.
