  1. Rua Kos Mitrione or however you spell it Stout Cote
  2. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ May 7, 2010 -> 11:57 AM) "Chicago is not a better team than us," Luongo said. "They're not playing better than us. They are just doing a better job in front of the net on both sides. Dustin is doing a good job of what he's doing and he's not getting called for it so he's taking advantage of it. I love this quote from Luongo. Bulletin board material definitely. What a little baby. One of the most overrated things in sports.
  3. If Marcum was ever to throw a no-hitter, it would be tonight.
  4. QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ May 4, 2010 -> 05:35 PM) BTW who here has MMA as his favorite sport? I grew up watching and playing baseball, and I'll always be a hardcore baseball lover, but I think MMA has overtaken it. Am I alone here? Football is still easily my favorite sport to watch and I've been a MMA fan for 15 years but I dont see it ever passing up football or baseball. There are events that I will watch over football or baseball but I wont watch it over a Miami football game.

    Does Hannah Hilton count as a celeb?
  6. QUOTE (Brian @ May 1, 2010 -> 06:35 PM) I'll take Pie-O-My That's what you get for taking a girl.
  7. Atleast Ozzie/KW got one right with Jones right now.
  8. One problem with the Rays support is the dome is a b**** to get to. During traffic times, just to get from downtown Tampa to the dome is atleast 45 minutes. Since everyone basically lives in the suburbs so its even more drive time getting to the games. Basically kills weeknight attendance. The transplants rooting for their hometown teams are expected. You do hear people call in on radio shows complain about when the Bucs were good these transplants would be Bucs fans but still were Yankees/Red Sox fans. Typical frontrunners. But what gets me is you see all these you kids showing up to games in Red Sox and Yankees gear. You'd think the parents would want their kids to like teams from the area that they can see every night and look up to. I personally like their stadium. It's miserable waiting in line to buy tickets when its 95 degrees out, I can only imagine sitting outside waiting for the sun to go down so the temperatures drop into the 80s to watch a game. But whenever the Rays get a stadium in actual Tampa, I'd be surprised if they dont average in the mid 20s to low 30s every night as long as they are good.
  9. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 07:12 PM) Now Tito & Jenna say it was a misunderstanding. A blog I ran across put it the best. "Well gee no s***. Of course that b**** was lying. When Tito Ortiz punches you, you stay punched. You don’t go outside and give a press conference. Especially when you’re a 90 pound girl whose white blood cells are still gasping for air after 15 years in porn. If Tito hit her, she wouldn’t have died, she would have turned see-thru then floated up through the ceiling." lol If Tito stays with her then he's the dumbest guy in the world.
  10. barehand? seriously? Beckham misses that and its 7-7.
  11. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 04:44 PM) Contract Year Guess he wants to be traded to a contender team this summer.
  12. That's awesome! Earlier in the broadcast, the Rangers guy said no one will have 10 HRs at the end of April.
  13. Pierre looks like one of those 3 inning little league players. I've never seen a major league who consistently cant hit a ball into the outfield.
  14. Hey Alexei, there's 2 outs and JP is on deck. Stop bunting the ball.
  15. QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 03:14 PM) Maybe a bench clearing brawl is needed to fire the team up. Worked for the Indians in Major League II but they fought themselves. This team needs something to light a fire.
  16. I think we should go after the old Indians manager. I cant remember his name...
  17. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 12:05 PM) It was Billy Martin. He called Reggie Jackson into his office in '77 and had Yogi Berra write down all of the names he picked out on a blackboard. No, it was BUBBA SMITH!
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 11:49 AM) I think the Penguins might be the favorites to win it all now. Their road is much easier of course. The Western team they play in the finals might be better, but I think the top 4 in the West are gonna beat the crap out of each other and wear each other out, which gives Pitt a huge advantage. They obviously have been there before, and they won it last year as a 4 seed as well. I agree. Montreal has been a nice story but Pittsburgh is the most complete team in the league. Beating Washington was great for Montreal but the Caps are the Sharks of the East. Plus I dont see Montreal as a physical team so Pittsburgh shouldnt have much wear and tear. Boston and Philly will probably beat the s*** out of each other for 6-7 games and that will take a huge toll on either of those teams hoping to upset the Penguins.
