  1. The Red Sox are looking like a bunch of punks. This is getting ridiculous.
  2. ASJ had all the talent but was a moron. Plus injury prone.
  3. Can't believe Howard fell in the Bucs lap. I was hoping maybe Njoku would be available if the top 3 RBs weren't available bc I figured Howard would've been gone by 19. Excited.
  4. ESPN really letting some heavy hitters go. I guess ESPN would rather pay no-names little money to read Twitter reactions from athletes accounts than to pay actual sports writers to cover stories.
  5. The Milkman was a QB at Florida before Spurrier got there.
  6. Can't stand watching games where the announcers are calling the game from a studio
  7. Guess we can get off the ledge for the time being.
  8. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Mar 15, 2017 -> 10:06 PM) Tim Tebow with 2 hits today. Off a guy who will be bagging groceries in a couple of weeks...
  9. Glennon does have a nice pass. Can't argue the Underwood comment but Tim Wright was pretty good that year with Glennon
  10. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 8, 2017 -> 07:23 PM) Where is zenyran with a scouting report when you need him? I vaguely remember him clowning Glennon when I thought his numbers looked OK. Let me say for the record, if the Bucs could've kept Glennon I would've been happy. I have zero issues about him being a backup for the Bucs and bringing him out of the bullpen for a game or two if Winston got injured. Winston has been hit a bunch the first two years so an injury is bound to happen. He was nicknamed Captain Checkdown for a reason around Tampa. In today's NFL, if you want to be a good team you need to have a QB that can carry his team on his shoulders a few times a year. Go out and throw 400 yards to win a game and Glennon isnt that. In 2013(13 starts), he threw 19/9 which is a nice ratio but he ranked 37th out of 37 QBs in yards per attempt(6.2) Captain Checkdown. 35th out of 37 in yards per completion(Matt Ryan was 37th that year fwiw). He averaged 200 yards per game that season. That is pretty pedestrian in the new era of the pass happy NFL and every game he played in that season he started. So its not like the average is low because a couple games he threw a few meaningless passes and got 60 yards total. He passed for over 250 yards only 3 times that season and less than 200 yards 7 times. 2014 he started 5 games and saw slight improvements. His YPA was 7.0 which would've put him tied for 22nd if he had enough playing time to qualify for that stat. He moved up to 236 YPG which would've put him just under Hoyer on the stat board. 10/6 TD ratio. His only two 300+ yard games came that year, a last second win at Pitt where he hit Vincent Jackson for a TD and a loss to the Ravens where Baltimore lead 38-0 at halftime. In the Ravens game Glennon was airing it out bc of the score. 2015 he didnt attempt a pass. i dont recall him even taking a snap. 2016 10-11 passing, all in the 4th quarter against the Falcons in a blowout loss. So after the 2013 season, after some fans were happy that Glennon took over for Josh Freeman, what do the Bucs do? They fire the coach who drafted him(Schiano) and and hire Lovie who replaces Glennon with McCown. Which for as bad as that hiring and signing was it did lead to the Bucs drafting Winston, who was named the starter over Glennon who had 18 starts from pretty much day 1. TB was always looking in the market for a starting QB even after seeing Glennon play an extended amount of time. So the Bears are spending $15M a season and will without a doubt have the 4th best QB in their division and the ceiling will be 3rd best in the division as long nothing changes in GB and Detroit. What sense does that make? I get that QBs make a lot of money but is he really double the worth of Hoyer? Maybe all Glennon needs is a chance as a starter but is anyone really thinking he is face of the franchise material?
  11. Some of that bleach must have leaked into his brain.
  12. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jan 18, 2017 -> 09:45 PM) I have gotten into soccer this year. Somehow, I ended up following West Ham. Am I destined for disappointment like my other sports teams? Sort of seems like it. Nice. There are too many front runners when it comes to picking a side.
  13. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 17, 2017 -> 01:45 PM) The Bears spent the 4th pick on Ced Benson. It would have been doubly good if they drafted Rodgers because not only would they have him, the Packers would not. And the Bucs picked Cadillac Williams and decided to roll the dice with Brian Griese and Chris Simms as their QBs. Thanks a lot Gruden....
  14. Shouldn't have spiked it on first down. Always great to see the Cowboys lose
  15. QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Jan 11, 2017 -> 08:38 AM) It's pretty impressive how big of a piece of s*** Grayson Allen is. he is a 3 year old kid trapped in a 20-something year old's body. the constant tripping, the crying outburst a couple games back and now this. Something isnt right with him mentally.
  16. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 10, 2017 -> 01:02 AM) Wonder if Saban will whine about the refs in the post game. Such a large penalty differential. The defensive pass interference in the final seconds didn't occur in the end zone either. Should've been half the distance which would've put the ball around the 4 instead. Probably results in another play call.
  17. Get rid of Beadle and Rachel Nichols and the ESPNU feed could be fun in the second half.
  18. QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jan 9, 2017 -> 08:58 PM) So which of the 14 feeds is everyone watching? The voices feed is unwatchable. Bill Walton is great tonight but I'm watching the normal broadcast. I don't want all the distractions
  19. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 1, 2017 -> 05:49 PM) The Jags will have a top 5 pick for the 6th year in a row. The Edmonton Oilers of the NFL
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 1, 2017 -> 04:08 PM) Re: Panthers/Bucs game a second ago. Has there been a single case this year where a team down 7 in the late 4th quarter scored a TD, went for 2 to take the lead rather than kicking to tie, and won the game? I can't remember one and I'm recalling several losses that way, including this game. The Raiders play took guts. This play was like a preseason game where neither teams wants to go to OT.
  21. Clemson just much better. After seeing FSU statistically dominate Michigan, not shocking that Clemson is doing the same to Ohio St.
  22. QUOTE (zenryan @ Oct 13, 2016 -> 04:19 PM) Watching her get her face caved in won't bother me a bit. Lol, what a fraud. Love it
