I was afraid of a loss to the Rays tonight. However I sure didn't expect to get a beating like we got. If we expect to make the playoffs we have to play better then this.

This time Ozzie used his head and changed pitchers in the seventh when Red Sox had the bases loaded and one out. The Royals did us a big favor by beating the Twinkies for us.

I'm starting to think that Griffey was damaged good when we got him. The term general soreness is what makes me think that. Heck I'm sure every player on the team has general soreness at some point in the season and plays through it.

Ramirez has to be better then the way Logan pitched tonight. If Logan is sent down as planned the Sox are doing the right thing.

As bad as Boone Logan was pitching I would have never let Logan pitch to David Ortiz. That was the ball game in my opinion. Jose is out for the season that is tough.

This team has potential but not good enough to win the ALCS. What I am saying ALCS for, we have to get in the playoffs first. My big concern is starting pitching, Buehrle is not the pitcher he was in 2005 and Jose is the end of the line I'm afraid. Crede's back problem has probably been part of all the errors he has made this season.

Another loss, lead is down to 1/2 game, thank goodness it is only late July.
