Perhaps they wanna move Viciedo because he has more trade value.....What team was it that was trying to deal for Cespedes? Perhaps they might wanna take on a guy who has the potential to be just as good.

Whats gonna (for lack of a better word) "suck" is after weeks of playing defenses ranked in the 20's and 30's against the pass Cutler is returning against the 9th ranked Browns who have only allowed 1 300 yard game all season (this past week, when Brady threw for 179 in the 4th Q). So chance are he doesn't put up McCown like numbers so you just know the meatheads will go off about the switch even more.

Gotta like Nieto's 12% walk rate at least.

Really interesting to see how many "experts", or really just people outside of this fan base, thought so little of Santiago. Seems like everyone is calling him a back end of the rotation guy, which if thats the case, and some of us just have blinders on, getting a guy who was being talked about as a rookie of the year candidate sounds like a good return. I haven't really found a single expert to bash this deal from a Sox perspective. Perhaps some of us overvalued Santiago.

What goes into the "Oliver" projections? That projects Eaton to have a 3.6 War.....Whereas it hates Santiago and projects him to have a .2 War

Would be real nice if he and Semien can get anywhere near their gaudy obps in the minors.
