His conversion% is actually 83.8% according to ESPN....Only 9 closers (of the 30 listed) have worse...His ERA right now is 4.40, worst among those 30.....Only 4 closers have a worse WHIP.....Only 4 closers have a worse batting average against (He and Petricka both have a .250 BAA)....Not that it really matters, but he also has 7 losses, which is the most.....His 10 HRs are the same amount given up by the 5 guys who have gotten saves for the Sox combined ( 242 innings vs 57)

I wanna see them 4 more games, just cuz 10 more wins than last year. The only guy that's likely to get strapped to a pick that I'd want is VMart and I guess he's old so it wouldn't be THAT big a loss in the long run, so I can care less about a protected pick.

I sure would love a legit #2 this offseason. I know he didn't GIDP that time but it sure looked like that would be #22. (His 21 is 6th worse in the majors) I hope I'm wrong about Semien not being all that great and he can step into the role.
