  1. I'll be there on labor day.. looks like I'm eating cheap hotdogs all day... that leaves more money for beverages. Wonderful!
  2. Is this the first time AJ has caught Jose since he came back.. I can only remember Castro being behind the plate for him since he returned from the minors.
  3. I'll be there, and the Sox are undefeated in my time at games this year, including one game against The Royals (opening day), so let's hope I'm the lucky charm!
  4. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Aug 17, 2009 -> 09:18 PM) Scotty Pods! A DH with some extra base power ha :lolhitting
  5. I watched a good friend get hit in the junk with a tennis ball (thrown by one of my other good friends at close range), a week later, the friend who got hit was at the Bears game and couldn't even climb the stairs at soldier field, had to be rushed to the hospital and ended up having one of his nuts removed since it had been twisted around the other one and the bottom one had died. I was a 100% cup wearer when I played baseball, probably because I was a catcher, but I think I would have anyway, nothing worse than getting hit in the nuts.
  6. Worth a shot. I'm for it.
  7. I don't think I'll ever be able to watch highlights of this game without getting chills. Props to the Sox for doing this.
  8. Can't we all just enjoy the production we're getting from him now? Kid's a stud. Let's wait until he starts the lift and pull mentality before we castrate him.
  9. QUOTE (Whitewashed in '05 @ Aug 1, 2009 -> 11:15 AM) Just got the kings of leon album and I'm really enjoying. Gotta agree on this one. Surprisingly good and marketable album from such an indie-cult favorite.
  10. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Aug 2, 2009 -> 11:57 AM) Sounds like they see Bacon long-term at 3b? If it ain't broke...
  11. QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Aug 2, 2009 -> 11:42 AM) username/post Post of the week
  12. I like that he said the itch got turned up a notch because he's in a playoff race. Had a feeling he was putting off a comeback due to not competing.
  13. QUOTE (FedEx227 @ Aug 1, 2009 -> 12:49 PM) Plus kids fly free on some major airlines. He just sits on someone's lap most likely. :lolhitting
  14. Glad Kong got those 2 back.
  15. Both Chicago papers featured it on the front and back page of their news-stand issues today. The back of the Trib has Buehrle with his mitt over his head, probably one of my favorite images of Chicago sports ever.
  16. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:45 PM) I will be spending this evening editing the commercials out of my tivo'd copy and converting it if anyone wants to host it Please post when that becomes available.. places like megaupload.com are good for large video files.
  17. QUOTE (klaus kinski @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:39 PM) Probably the only pitcher with a No no , perfect game, and World Series save I was just saying this to my mom... who else has done anything like that?
  18. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:37 PM) I seem to remember Itunes uploading the No Hitter in 2007. Yeah, that was the AL game of the week.. I wonder if they still do that..?
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:16 PM) I can't believe it... I want to cry. I let a few out. My excitement level right now is close to when they won the series.
  20. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 03:13 PM) Honestly, not sure. Dewayne went WAY up for that one. DeWayne ramped up his D, just as many players do for a no hitter/perfect game. That was incredible.
  21. I'M GIDDY RIGHT NOW, I'LL NEVER FORGET THIS!
