  1. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... ......I think you missed my point there, but alas, I will overlook it. When games aren't close, we should use the guys with issues like Koch and White...at least, if there weren't men left on by Buehrle I would have.
  2. Hey, Rowand IS in Centerfield....er, only 7 innings too late...nice micromanaging there JM
  3. Yeah, cause I wanna see Marte's arm fall off sometime in mid-September, bring him in if at all possible.
  4. Ditto, and hey Roman, don't call my man Koch crap again, White is indeed crap..feel free to use it to describe him
  5. Yep, I'm gonna say it, this is the time to use Koch for the last 2 innings...then the rest of the Pen is fresh for Seattle and KC...
  6. Its a straight ass-whoopin now...and I love it!!! But Rowand still shoulda been in CF over Everett, who is now 0-4
  7. Frank definately doesnt have the magicstick against Darrel May, but luckily other Sox do. Clujer, BTW, you'll never hear me use the word STUD to describe any guy, much less a baseball player.
  8. Do you expect that in a guys 1st year at a difficult position in MLB? I just think he needs some time..he seems to get under ALOT of pitches at-bat, and I don't think he has learned to pull his hands in when he is busted inside. Patience, grasshopper..
  9. Think about it, the kid has 11 HRs, playing a great third base, and is young, in his 1st full season as a starter...do you all expect 30 Hrs, .300 BA, and perfect D at every position?
  10. Thats why you don't trade Crede...the kid is gonna be alright
  11. Ah, the magical swing of Paul konerko
  12. Everett shouldn't even try to hit from the right side...he is under everything..again, echoing my sentiments that Rowand should be in CF tonight.
  13. One of these teams can play smallball better than the other....can you guess which one?
  14. Dunn had pretty good numbers, but I think he was 26, and still in AA...hasn't been with us too long.
  15. Nickles numbers not too bad in AAA: Nickle, Doug -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pacific Coast League » Salt Lake Stingers 04/04 to 07/27 W L SV ERA G IP H R ER BB KO HR 2 2 4 1.48 34 48.2 40 8 8 18 23 1
  16. Pauly has some triple speed, though I was just thinking that myself, who picks Konerko for the cycle?
  17. Hmm, I'd have mixed feelings on this one...why would it take GLover AND 2 others to get Schoneweis? And Glover was just starting to look like a real pitcher....hmmm
  18. Jesus, I really think that Jerry doesnt know how to read scouting reports, so he just plays whoever.
  19. My sentiments exactly...the guy is probably wondering what he has to do to get some playing time,

  21. BOOOOO, HISSSS!!! No,no,no....Lou said at his press conference this week that "Retirement is not on the agenda"...he really wants to win something important before he leaves the team to Skip. Now, as for Summers, he is already qualified, and in Columbia working out voluntarily. The kid is for real...1st step is the one that gives him the edge....hell, college football gets me happy...my season tickets will arrive next week while I'm in Chicago for the Royals series...I'll be happy to see those when I get back.
  22. Interesting little fact...we have the guy that broke Emmitt Smiths HS records coming in with Demetris Summers, and the guy that broke all of Herschel Walkers State rushing records in Daccus Truman as our fullback...and Skip has been given FULL control of the offense, Lou is only coaching the DBs...I look for pretty good things this year, but I honestly think that 2004 is gonna be the best shot for this team...we are REAL young...and Summers shouldn't be expected to be All-SEC right away, he won't even be the starter.
  23. That stupid f***ing rock...man, I tell ya...that is one of the most moronic "traditions" in football, and Clemson fans honestly believe its the "Most exciting 25 seconds in college football" just stupid.
  24. Yeah, with Borchard I'm with ya...but Rauch..the whole shoulder surgery would put anyone behind schedule, and Munoz got COMPLETELY worn out last year...reg. minor league season, Arizona Fall League, and Winter Leagues were too much to put on his arm
  25. I didn't know either of those two went to USC. It's a shame to see Marcus Robinson have such an awesome year, get hurt the next year, and not be the same. I hope he does well this year for Baltimore. Pritchett will ALWAYS be remembered in USC circles as the running back that went over the top against UGa in 93 or 94, with no time on the clock to win the game in Athens....
