My larger point is that the sox would probably get better production from a guy from the minors, ala Broadway, Richard, Haeger than from Masset. Carrasco was tried and has gotten some outs. The same should be tried if Masset is let go. So you are going to throw out this season's results and call him up based on 1 start last September against KC? Massett has pitched some nice games this season and he pitched a nice one against the Cubs in 2007. Broadway is not an option.
