  1. The ball is really jumping to CF today. Very unusual at USCF.
  2. Freddy at 95 pitches. Hopefully Ozzie won't leave him in until he gives up 8 runs, because his ERA is at 4.91. The Sox may actually have 60% of the greatest rotation ever with ERAs over 5.00 at the All Star break.
  3. At least Dye has 2 more ABs this game.
  4. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 01:59 PM) I like toast. Really burnt toast.
  5. When is the last time a White Sox has hit 3 homers in a game?
  6. Cintron is not going to be able to hit high gas.
  7. Nomar is having an awesome year. I heard he's actually been very good defensively at 1B.
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 01:44 PM) For as bad as Dye looked yesterday, he looks great today. Maybe he got himself some hookers last night.
  9. Beckett's homers allowed home vs. road is unbelievable.
  10. Dye appears ready for Home Run Derby.
  11. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 01:39 PM) I want to know what Coop is doing, period. Why are our starters so bad this year, and getting worse? What is he doing to fix this? Coop gets way too much credit for pitcher's success, and way too much blame for their failures.
  12. Even more incredible to me is our pitchers inability to pitch over poor fielding.
  13. Its incredible to me how the ball always seems to find our poorer defenders.
  14. I was worried about the second time through. Freddy looks like BP right now.
  15. Its not the first time Freddy has shown up his defense. He did it with Iguchi earlier in the year, when Tadahito could grab a ball out of a small pond on the infield.
  16. McCarver finally with a good point. If Freddy hangs a slider his teammates should show him up.
  17. BA needs to be in CF. Freddy making an ass out of himself again.
  18. Soft tossing Freddy is really looking good. He's even hit 90 a couple of times.
  19. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 01:10 PM) Freddy does it again. Ortiz leads off next inning....it's nice not having anyone on when he comes up. I thought Youkalis was the big out there. If he walked him, that inning could have deteriorated quickly.
  20. QUOTE(Wedge @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 01:06 PM) for some reason, I don't think it's Frank. Bill Melton 1971 Dick Allen 1972
  21. Crede is starting to fan a little more.
  22. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 12:43 PM) Yes, our offense is very good. Imagine if our leadoff hitter could hit and/or steal bases still. I don't understand how so many could say he was so great last year, and so pathetic this. His obp is only .004 lower than last year. He is only 18 runs short of his entire season total from last year. He already has driven in more runs, and he has approximately half of the SB. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Pods is anything more than average, but I thought that last year as well.
  23. I think the second time through the line-up is going to be the key for Freddy today.
