  1. The explaination made no sense either. They could have called someone up, they do it all the time. Just more BS from the White Sox front office.
  2. This has happened so much this year, I was joking to someone that they are trying to keep toys away from Tony.. If they called up Hassely, you know he would figure prominently in the next game or 2. Now I'm thinking, maybe my joke was actually right.
  3. So it makes perfect sense for the White Sox.
  4. How does he explain several players who would have improved the White Sox were traded for non premium prospects. And didn't the White Sox get it out there they were interested in Ohtani which certainly would have cost them almost all their so called premium prospects?
  5. If you canr change the players, you need to change something. JR won't embarrass Tony even though Tony embarrasses JR almost daily. Fire Hahn tonight. He has failed. If you can conclude Renteria wasn't going to get you there, there is ten times the evidence Hahn isn't the guy either. Let KW retire, and try again. L
  6. Steve Stone 2021 This team will be fired up as the front office showed them they believed in them ny acquiring the best reliever available. Steve Stone 2022 There is nothing more a front office can do to show they believe in this team than by standing pat at the deadline.
  7. Bellinger would be great if we were playing Sratomatic and could use his 2029 card. I was watching MLBN yesterday and they did a Dodgers projected line up if they got Soto. Bellinger was 9th.
  8. I'm calling BS. The only thing worse than firing Tony in JR's mind would be trading Cash Considerations. That's his favorite 2 sport player.
  9. They deserve about 4500 at tonights game.
  10. A bench bat becomes a middle of the line up player playing out of position in Tony's world.
  11. Right after the "oh we were so close to a crazy huge trade. We thought it was done. Jerry really stepped up with the OK with adding payroll."
  12. If you trade a guy but pick up all his salary, how does that work tax wise? Is that still counted as yours or the new teams's?
  13. Whether it is now or in the offseason, they need to do something about the offense. And they need some left handed hitters.
  14. It's depressing that it came to this so quickly without any postseason success. But Hahn not clearing out his better prospects for relievers who will have 6.00 ERAs or hitters who will have sub .600 OPS isn't a bad thing. Of course, if they are going to keep KW and RH and TLR on, it really doesn't matter.
  15. How many relievers could Hahn get for Montgomery?
  16. I think someone will sneak in to 20.
  17. Sox leading HR hitter has 12. Aaron Judge has 10 the last 2 weeks. Mulitple championships. Yeah right.
  18. Doubt it. Usually with limited no trades, the teams on the list are the teams most likely to trade for him. Teams that don't take on money usually aren't on it. It really isn't about winning and losing usually. I bet most big money guys with limited no trades can be traded to Pittsburgh and Cleveland and Oakland.
  19. He's already won a game for the White Sox this year.
  20. He can probably be traded to all of those teams. The problem is none of them would ever agree to a trade for him.
  21. It's limited to 10 teams. He just tried to trade him to the wrong one. Of course, the 10 he chooses are the 10 most likely to pick up his contract.
  22. They are getting new ownership. New ownership usually either goes really cheap or goes on a crazy spending spree. I gues this means they can get away with cheap for a couple of years, then go nuts.
  23. Yonder Alonso is available.
  24. And the bullpen will still be average at best.
  25. thas still a decent amount of change with only 6 or so paychecks remaining for a guy who has been a replacement level player for over a year.
