  1. Ozzie calling out Tony on the postgame. Firsts says he loves him but then says c’mon, you need to say to the players what they need to here, they aren’t fighting. They are giving up ABs game after game. Says its embarrassing, and the team looks like they don’t want to be there.
  2. As much as the team has underachieved, I would think I would have a problem with the clubhouse being all hunky dory.
  3. I'm not a big Harrison fan, but he's been playing really well lately. I'm with you, how does he sit?

List of White Sox 2nd round draft picks that have put up at least a 2.0 career WAR the last 52 years: Ryan Sweeney 2003 6.9 Jeremy Reed 2002 2.1 Jeff Weaver 1997 15.4, didn't sign Bob Wickman 1990 16.9 Terry Forster 1970 20.4 One didn't sign. 2 were relievers used in trades, with one best known as a punch line in a David Letterman joke. One was used as a headliner to get Freddy Garcia, which was a good move, and the other a thrown in. So when the Sox forfeit a 2nd rounder, chances are it won't bite them.
  5. He got hosed, but it's better for the team he gets those 4 days off. Rodon didn't make it either. It's crazy. And Rodon was more pissed Cease didn't make it than himself.
  6. Can you use it in a sentence? I'm practicing for a spelling bee appearance.
  7. Cease didn't make the All Star team. That's crazy.
  8. Lopez In. If Sheets would have had a shot AB that resulted in an out, there was no way Lopez would have been ready.
  9. If somehow he gets out of this inning, and somehow we avoid the Joe akelly Experience, and the Sox can somehow score 2 more runs, the Sox may win. Odds are not good, but check one off.
  10. Have to hand it to Kopech. He didn't have much, but he kept them in the game.
  11. The over under has to be 1.5 for the Sox for games after they score 6 or more.
  12. Does McGuire have options left? Seby wuld have to clear waivers to be sent back. That would seem unlikely at this point.

They will try, but it's going to be tough. I'm sure JR isn't losing money, but it didn't pile up as high this year as he thought it would last October.
  14. It's not all that difficult to figure out the manager is a problem. Just watch him mumble his way through a post-game press conference. And then ask yourself, if you knew nothing else, would that be a guy you would hire to help win championships? Forget the off field stuff which should have DQd him, he is in decline. Get someone who is not for the second half, and see if that helps.
  15. I think the core is a fine start, but the organization needs an overhaul. We have seen things this year we have never seen before. Also an overall lack of concentration, lack of hustle, lack of baseball IQ that's from the players. The front office had a failure of an offseason. The manager and coaching staff make curious decisions . But I think the biggest problem is despite all of the obvious we see,( I love TA , but how many dumb mistakes can you make on the bases in a week) other than Keuchel, no one has been held accountable. Until that changes, nothing else will. Fire Tony.
  16. Kenny's wife retired from TV news last year. I also read where Kenny said something along the lines of his last contract was going to be his last. Who knows, maybe it's for 10 years, but I am holding out hope he retires soon. The problem is , it seems there is very little chance they would replace him with an outsider, so the stench would linger.
  17. So everyone wants the Sox to rebuild again?
  18. It's tough, but the Sox did what every other team would have done. Sorry Ryan, it's a cold business,, especially for fringe guys. Injured fringe guys.
