  1. Cueto is one of the greatest free agent pitcher signings in team history. If Lynn doesn't hurt his knee, he is somewhere else, and the Sox are playing out the string.
  2. The White Sox better re think their offseason training program. When half the team gets hurt just running bases, something is wrong.
  3. You can blame Super Joe for sending him, but it is 1-0 in the 7th, that's a huge run. Why no pinch runner?
  4. I would be surprised if the Sox score tonight.
  5. Rick made the same mistake with Leury he made with Keppinger.
  6. I can't stand Tony but I don't know why that was a huge deal. In the slim chance the pitchers spot were to come up, he still had Romy to hit. Now, you can question why he would burn Sheets to lead off an inning, at the expense of Seby who probably had just as much of a chance to get a hit. Also with the 1-2 intentional walk, if this guy is such a HOF quality hitter, why was Diekman facing him in the first place? Lambert the righty was ready.
  7. Just about every post-game press conference, Tony doesn't appear to be all there. This is just moments after the game ends, so it's not like he can possibly be totally aware in the dugout. What a mess.
  8. Their sales staff is going to have to wake up, for sure. I have a partial plan that right now I would say I will not renew. You can do a lot better buying on Stubhub and they do nothing anymore for their season ticketholdrrs. Used to have parties, send you gifts, invite you to talks, would have a staff member actually contact you. Now nothing. Get a canned once a month season ticketholder newsletter trying to get you to buy more, and the only attempt at a perk was an invitation to White Sox BP to a game not in my 20 gane plan where I would have to buy more tickets. They claimed if you couldn't attend, there would be more opportunities. That was a couple of months ago. Haven't had more opportunities. They were counting on this team being all they needed, and are going to get burned.
  9. Those expecting big changes this offseason are going to be upset. They don't understand the market and will value their players way too high to actually trade them.
  10. 2 nights ago on Kaplans show Jesse was talking about Tony's HOF credentials being out on full display when they won 5 in a row.
  11. Losing the DH doesnt matter. They won't get back to the 9 spot anyway.
  12. For a guy who chastises fans on Twitter for ever questioning the almighty LaRussa, Stone sure does secretly question him a lot.
  13. He's an upgrade to what they had. But it's not like they won a bidding war.
  14. This has 3-2 loss written all over it. But it will be a good loss for some reason.
  15. No one is around to get the fax. They are at the store getting all their video converted to VHS.
  16. Total tease. When you have to have a meeting and tell the entire team there needs to be more fire, you can temporarily get some. It's not permanent. They will lose at least 2 out of 3 this weekend, and be back to where they were when everyone got excited because they beat up an awful Detroit team, and had 2 unlikely comebacks vs. Houston.
  17. 2022 Chicago White Sox. One base ar a time.
  18. 5 singles scores 2, so 25 singles. Already have 2.
  19. God Bless my wife. She just saw the score and texted me. She asked me if they could come back.
  20. The fact that they are so in the White Sox heads speaks volumes.
