Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
This clown is talking about the intentional walk. That was the smart play. It was Rodon facing a righty. One of the better outcomes would have been walking him anyway.

The A’s don’t hit, but they make you throw strikes and can hit homers. The 2 things Cease hasn’t exactly mastered.

A break. Now get some runs.

I think he should have left Dunning for a little bit.

Have you ever noticed every time Coop goes out ther the next pitch is a ball.

Another issue is Foster hasn’t been so automatic lately.

I think it is so unfair to expect much out of Rodon, Bummer and Leury at this point. They just couldn’t be anywhere near full speed.

Ricky made a nice move there. The intentional walk counts as a batter.

If he walks him, Rodon should fake an injury so they can take him out.

Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
This is a problem. Rodon was not ready to return, and the A’s see too many pitches to go inning to inning with relievers.

Considering it is still sunny downtown, I think they would have got the Cubs game in today.

Rodon is in for 1 .

I think you are 1 for 2. Forearm tightness isn’t good. I bet they are checking his elbow. Eloy will be back if the Sox advance. He just wasn’t quite ready but getting better. A few days off is all he needs.

Getting a little worried the Sox are going to have to rely on Rodon going 5 innings.

I hope they all get more shots at Fiers. The ball travels pretty well in Oakland during the daylight, and he doesn't induce ground balls.

10 playoff AB, 10 hard hit balls. Pretty good for a guy someone said only hits when it doesn't matter.

Sox @ A’s - Wildcard Game 3 - 2:10
So Mazara went from shouldn't be on the playoff roster to a member of the optimal line up with 2 ABs. One being a strikeout, although he was screwed.

I think you are correct. They probably are afraid every series can be over today, so they saw one where they could try to make some sort of case for cancelling. I live 3 miles south of Wrigley Field. It is sunny right now.

It isn't the Cubs call to postpone a playoff game.

Umpires embarassing themselves all year.
Balls and strikes have always been bad, There is just so much more technology now and social media to get the info out. The sooner they go to robot umpires the better.

He hit it hard. A few feet either direction and it’s tied.

The fact that anyone would expect anything different is puzzling to me. He had thumb surgery, missed 2 months, and didnt get into a game.
