Delmonico Out 4-6 Weeks w Fractured Metacarpal
His lack of power has been discouraging. Last season he showed nice pop. He is bigger than he looks. Who takes his place? That Charlotte roster is pretty ugly except for Kopech.

Fulmer sent to Charlotte
Maybe so, but he is nowhere near the zone. Division 1 hitters aren’t major leaguers, but would have no problem laying off his offerings now. Something has gone totally south with him. Hopefully it is just confidence, but the more he performs like he is performing the lesser it appears there is a decent chance at recovery.

Your take on her death is absolutely disgusting.. no surprise it appears you came up with it from an alt right conspiracy site

Fulmer sent to Charlotte
Fulmer has a 4,96 career ERA in the minors and a career 5::58 ERA in AAA. He wasn’t ruined by being rushed. He just had no business being in the major leagues. Maybe something clicks. He has had some flashes of brilliance. I just don’t see how you can go from a guy who even can be considered a top 10draft pick to where he is now. If he was throwing what he is throwing now in college, there is no way he would have been successful. Obviously it would be foolish to give up on him, but I think it is pretty likely he is a lost cause. I know Andrew Miller was awful for a while then became a stud reliever. But that would require Fulmer being able to throw strikes something he shows no evidence he will ever be able to do. If he cannot throw strikes, he will need to find another line of work,

We will see moving forward, but right now he is Jose Valentin right handed. Jose had a below .600 OPS from that side. The one time he did bat lefty vs. a lefty, he homered,

Remember when people actually reasonably though Adam Engel might be able to hit? That was awesome.

I once saw a team score 4 runs with no hits.

They should give everyone who attended this game free tickets to use another season. Making them use them this season is like getting a coupon from a restaurant for a free meal after you find a roach in your sandwich.

Players who have fewer than 5 professional seasons and already have used up 3 option years qualify for a fourth option year.

I think Fulmer qualifies for a 4th option,

Banister must think his days in Arlington are numbered. With the bunting he definitely seems to be auditioning to White Sox brass.

I will say so what? I don’t see where getting their brains beat in here helps. If going down when they don’t deserve to be here crushes him, can you really expect them to be viable pitchers later on? Hold them accountable for stinking the place up. Go down to AAA, do well and come back up.

I am not giving up on the guy, but his command is ridiculously bad.

A trillion walks, a couple HBP, a WP, a few swings that look like the guy that has to play 2 innings, errors, throwing to wrong bases, and it’s the 2nd inning.

**President Trump 2018 Thread**
Trump pressured the Postmaster General to double Amazons rates. She had to tell him they are bound by contracts and even if they wanted to change them , there is a review process. Then she had to show him how Amazon is actually beneficial to the USPS.

Gun Violence in America
Not only that, but what about a fire or other reason for evacuation? It's everything but, hey maybe we have to do SOMETHING about keeping guns out of the people who do this hands. It will be "too soon", then there will be a call from the left about doing something, then some more crazy Trump shit will happen and we move on. Over and over and over again.

**President Trump 2018 Thread**
Apparently Uncle Rudy really lost it today on CNN when Chris Coumo played a clip of him telling Charlie Rose in 1998 that a sitting President must obey a subpoena to testify. I guess it all has to do with the letter after the name.

Gun Violence in America
Why up until a couple years ago, was there no need for metal detectors and armed guards and locked doors at schools? There were mentally ill people back then. Fix the cause of the problem. Locking the door and buying a metal detector is maybe a start. Might save a life or 2, but this needs to stoop.

I don't think people really worry about seat belts anymore. Why you wouldn't wear one would be pretty silly. The last time I didn't wear one, I was involved in a head on collision. Luckily for me it was at an intersection where we both had stopped. He was drunk, swerved into my lane and totaled my car. My head hit the windshield, but I was oK. Do non smokers worry about smokers "rights".? How much nicer is it people don't smoke in bars anymore? There are condos where you can't smoke in your unit as it will leak into others. Smokers initially b****, but then adjust. They are amazing. I see people out smoking when it's 20 below windchill. People would adjust just fine if there were stiffer gun control laws.

Then why won't Republicans do anything about it? Besides keeping it violent by trying to keep the poor and disadvantaged desperate?

Gun Violence in America
First off, state lines don't stop guns. Secondly, Trump's talking point about Chicago having the country's toughest gun laws? Would you believe, fake news? Chicago itself has some tough laws — there is an assault-weapons ban in Cook County, for example. But it's not true that Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the country. At one point, it did have much tougher laws — it had banned handguns in the city limits, but a 2008 Supreme Court ruling declared that ban unconstitutional, and a 2010 ruling reaffirmed that. The city also had had a gun registry program since 1968, but ended it in 2013 when the state passed a law allowing the concealed carry of weapons.
