It didn't seem to make much sense, but if they had won the bidding it would have been interesting to see what the plan was. He does take a healthy cut. I don't know if that works when he's facing 95.

That kind of stuff could keep his contract a little lower. The thing is, even if you win the bidding, if you don't sign him, you get your money back.
