  1. Burger can DH, play a little third, first and maybe a cup of coffee in LF. He looks like he has a role on this team as does Mendick. Maybe it is because they seem to have decent at bats more times than not and are progressing. I'd love for Grandal, Yoan or Robert to carry the offense for a little bit as opposed to a 2-5 day with an RBI or two being a good game for them.
  2. Well my first game thread went well as Lance Lynn did what we have all wanted done all season......maybe Dallas wasn't all that wrong after all, he just wasn't bastard enough to do something about it to this coaching staff and their defensive positioning. Hopefully we have more than one MLB caliber reliever available today and if given the opportunity, use an MLB bat at DH as opposed to the back up catcher from Charlotte and the fuse may remain lit. Below is what ESPN has to say. I included injuries as I think we forget about the likes of Garret Crochet and we shouldn't Chicago White Sox (28-31, third in the AL Central) vs. Detroit Tigers (24-36, fourth in the AL Central) Detroit; Tuesday, 7:10 p.m. EDT PITCHING PROBABLES: White Sox: Dylan Cease (4-3, 3.14 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, 89 strikeouts); Tigers: Drew Hutchison (0-3, 4.60 ERA, 1.53 WHIP, 15 strikeouts) LINE: White Sox -182, Tigers +163; over/under is 8 runs BOTTOM LINE: The Chicago White Sox will try to keep a three-game road win streak alive when they play the Detroit Tigers. 3. Last year it was Yermin, this year it is Berger. When will it Yoan and Robert.... you know the one's being paid to produce in this window.
  4. McEwing is the infield coach, Boston outfield.
  5. He was warm and ready and hadn't pitched in three days
  6. This shows how poorly constructed this organization is. They had a chance to win the last 4 games and will end up blowing it because there is zero organizational depth.
  7. No Wells never wanted to be here. Lynn wants to win. He lost his shit on the drunk last year.
  8. I have never started a game thread as I find them to be rather unhealthy to be a part of but here we are. The fuse is lit. Lynn v Garcia Who is ready for the Rony Garcia show! White Sox vs. Tigers: Live Streaming Info & Game Time Game Day: Monday, June 13, 2022 Game Time: 7:10 PM ET Location: Detroit, Michigan Stadium: Comerica Park TV Channel: NBC Sports Networks Live Stream: fuboTV (Watch for free) Chicago vs. Detroit Odds & Betting Lines Favorite: White Sox (-140, bet $140 to win $100) Underdog: Tigers (+120, bet $100 to win $120) Over/under: 8.5
  9. When Carpenter was released by the Rangers I stated the sox should have signed him. The Sox should have signed him......maybe they had a seat at that table. They should have tried to get him and taken the loss on Harrison.
  10. I am old enough to remember the drunkard moving a HOF catcher to LF to save his knees. Granted the HOF catcher was an anomaly but he was by no means a LF and the idea was good in principal....10 years later he was still catching. Thus began Tony's infatuation with putting players in any defensive position he saw fit.
  11. How does he get an MRI instantly but every other player takes two to three days to get any results.
  12. I feel like I have seen this before. My guess is they try and do it before the game but maybe they were going to try and get an inning out of him as well.
  13. Sad Burger and Vaughn are the only offensive threats. Let's lock em up for 6 years each. Why is Robert even running to third. Bad fundamentals again fall on coaching staff. Man that team has some morons on it.
  14. Sad Burger and Vaughn are the only offense. Other than Abreu the Latin players are failing miserably.
  15. Impressively bad inning there. I didn't think it could get worse. Any team that pitches a LHP to start or relief needs to have their head examined.
  16. Jimmy Lambert Maybe Kopech just turned something and it's precautionary. Going to see some Tanner Banks today.
  17. Jimmy Lambert Maybe Kopech just turned it and it's precautionary.
  18. 4 days rest Maybe Kopech comes back tomorrow.
  19. Why does Kelly need a rehab assignment. The bullpen needs warm bodies at this point as starters can't get past 6 innings and relievers can't pitch back to back days.
  20. I keep looking back looking for what Tony the poster did then realize the thread I'm in. I forgot the manager's name as I just now refer to him as fing drunken ahole. I defended the hire on and off for all of last year but this off season and the pure stupidity of this hire has pushed me over the edge. My Fandom is really teetering. One thing I thought of was the fing drunken ahole had the NL pitcher batting to fall back on stupid moves previously.
  21. I didn't see the game but why were Graveman Bummer and Hendricks not used. When did Sousa become an every game guy? Is the drunk fucking asshole trying to lose games?
