TLR 2022 Thread
I don't want the worst player leading off and the benefit of handedness of the player is trumping actual production. Pollock has a history of being a good hitter use him. Instead we get three guys that are currently worthless batting 1st, 3rd and 5th because they can stand in the LHH batters box. That is the only rationale. Sheets is hitting better than all three of them and he was batting 7th....and I don't think much of Sheets.

GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
Maybe this is what is driving Abreu's retirement and Grandal's tank. Eloy Moncada and Robert seem to be regressing. Maybe the extensions weren't beneficial.

Top 6 were Latin players and 0-23

GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)

GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
Moncada sucks

GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
Historically worst LHH and I'd love to see a worse leadoff hitter used as often as Garcia.
-
GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
Game is going to be 8-0 very soon
-
GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
They will go 1 2 3 rather meekly in the 9th.

GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
Leadoff man 0-4 with 3 ks and pop out to catcher. Booing was very audible.

GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
They think he's Ben zobrist.....he's not.

GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
Losing this game is tolerable. The drunken stupidity is what irks me.

GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
Bennett Sousa to save the day.
-
GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
Moncada and Grandal should bat 7 and 8 and Garcia should never be above 9.
-
GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
There was plenty of booing Garcia here.
-
GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
Pollock should bat leadoff. It's noy really that hard.
-
GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)
Fuck this drunken idiot old asshole. Garcia is batting .186 with a .194OBP and thos asshole thinks him leading off is a good idea. Along with hitting guys purely on handedness.

And That's a White Sox Shutout Winner !!
I'm hoping Pollock gets more playing time over Sheets. The Sheets experiment needs to end.
-
Moncada + Grandal
The trade was a wash based on talent. Then you get the mental makeup of the players and that is where you see that Boston had the upper hand in the deal on what they knew.

Eloy rehab starts again 6/21
Yes and it forces them to once again look for a LHH

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
Sad our building block pitchers couldn't do what cueto is doing.
-
White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
He could give two shits where he is playing. He looks like a guy that got his money and will work hard when a new deal is on the horizon. If he was not locked up long term, I think we see a different guy. Same with Jimenez.

White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)
I said this Monday. He should hit leadoff and be the DH every day. You have players that absolutely suck being run out there every day yet for some odd reason he has some platoon situation. The lineup construction used by this fucking drunk asshole is killing me and this team. There is zero opportunity for any consistency because of what he thinks, with no support, is a good idea, Also maybe being the Cuban pipeline wasn't that great of an idea after all.

White Sox @ Blue Jays 6:07 PM: Kopech (1-1 1.29 ERA) vs Ryu (2-0 5.48 ERA)
Hopefully yoan didn't hurt himself in that AB

Sox vs Blue Jays 6:07, Giolito vs Gausman
What he did was stupid but he has been involved in most of their runs last 2 games
