I still think the Schomburg opportunity is allowing for injured pitchers especially veterans to be in a controlled environment for a longer period of time as opposed to the regular season where the rehab time in minors is limited.

The odd thing I see is that neither Gio or Ruiz are any good so there are two obvious spots. I think the Schaumburg site is a huge benefit as it gives them a controlled environment in which to work them up to speed in a controlled environment. He was brought in to mentor the Latino players along with Abreu. I do not think they can walk back from that as easily as it sounds. Vaughan had a great spring training but they were all in on Edwin and couldn't walk back from that once post summer camp hit.

Im at a loss for words at how lost angel is but Robert had pitches to hit.

If they drop to 7 they will have have as bad a week as possible and as such will go into the playoffs flat and bow out rather meekly.

Job of the nine hitter is to get on base and we like to help with that concept.

The only thing i can think of is that there is a organizational mindset that they are trying to formulate. That the results of this season are gravy. Keep things simple and get the work in and see what happens. The young guys are getting experience and they can see what they have next year. There really is no justification for some of the things we have seen.
