Carrasco is a high risk individual and two of the starting pitchers decided to put him at risk. That may tear them down.

I don't pay anyone anything but the White Sox may. They don't seem to want to get Collins in there. 4/$40M seems like something they should be able to stomach.

Grandal and McCann are a luxury that the White Sox can afford and cannot afford to lose going forward. Don't go insane but go a little crazy retaining McCann. Both are older guys and neither would be expected to catch more than 100 games year.

I think I recall that Jeff Torborg making defensive switches in as early as the 6th inning. Eloy should not be in the game in the 7th if he is not due up in the 8th on the road.

Mendick should have batted second today I said it earlier. Not that Mendick is all that great but Eloy has no business being there.

Detroit will make the playoffs the Sox won't and Hahn will blame injuries, short season and youth. There are numerous at-bats that are just terrible every game where a pitcher does not throw a strike and gets an out or worse a strike out. Yesterday on a 2-0 count Moncada swung at a ball 3 inches off the inside corner and grounded out weakly to third. I do not know if that is player development or what but we have 7 guys in the lineup daily that do that.

My main current COVID issue is how people cannot grasp the concept of risk mitigation. All any practice is trying to do is limit the spread.
