  1. This team has taken on a passive persona on the field.
  2. So there are two posts that look like he tagged him. The umpire is literally staring right at the tag....not sure how he could have missed it if he did in fact tag him but there is still no reason to not challenge that.
  3. So Alexi tagged him pulled up the glove showed the ump the ball and the ump called him safe. What rationale purpose at all is there to not challenge that and HOPE they missed yet. How does Ramirez not blow a gasket on the field for he ump missing the call.
  4. May Robin left the red flag in his office? He really is not a good manager.
  5. After the "greatest season ever by a shortstop" you now see why that statement is complete nonsense. He has had a few of those this season.
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 02:35 PM) Soria was pretty hitable there. Price has us all out of sorts. So has just about every pitcher they have faced.
  7. Direct TV CSNS, CSN+ and CSN++ are all in successive order I believe with CSN ++ the only not being HD.
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 10:14 AM) I bet he hits a bomb. I don't know, James Shields is no slooch. If I was a cub fan I would be attending or trying to.
  9. Do I have my cubs hate glasses on to think that I would rather have Sonny Gray or Carlos Rodon?
  10. Danks goes to the pen where he hopefully can hit 93 -95 on a regular short stint. Would make a nice set up man.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 16, 2015 -> 03:13 PM) When Sox ownership/management starts trying to stop Cub fans from coming to games at USCF and tries to stop them from doing "take me out to the ballgame", then you might have some weight to your idea. I think the ticket sale schemes back when those games began was very similar. I was only half joking.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 16, 2015 -> 09:37 AM) They are like the insecure new girlfriend who spends all of their time worrying about the ex's. Sounds like Sox fans worrying about cub fans
  13. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 16, 2015 -> 10:43 AM) Almost no chance they start Bryant at Wrigley this weekend. I fully expect him to be in the lineup Monday at Pittsburgh Media buzz is that his defense is abysmal and he has no position at this tiem. I think Rizzo gets traded for pitching.
  14. I posted this in the game thread but will post here as well. If he bunted on his own it just proves how low his baseball IQ is and there are reasons to believe it is very low. I am starting to think he is more suited for the 9 hole.
  15. Eaton may be he dumbest baseball player to ever roam the earth. Crashing into the wall on a ball that was not catchable last year was my first indication, getting thrown out at home to end a game you are 6 runs down in was another and today is just icing on the cake. Cabreara is not doing the things he was brought in to do but then eaton is not helping him Abreu looks a 20 year old that is mystified by the breaking pitch Garcia better have some reason why he could not bat today. The offense really should have pounded the ball yesterday and then today after bauer left. Again this team was not ready for the season to start and still is not.
  16. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 15, 2015 -> 12:27 PM) How are we going to score more then 3 runs today? Sox may get three but I have a feeling the injuns are getting a few more. Cleveland used their pen last evening so making bauer throw a ton of pitches would be a good idea but a philosophy that continually escapes the Chicago White Sox.
  17. Well the John Danks having good stuff fun last all of one game.
  18. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 15, 2015 -> 11:57 AM) Bad defense and running themselves out of big innings= no playoffs. It is really sad how this is apparent in almost every game. It is not just one or the other but both aspects in just about every game.
  19. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 15, 2015 -> 11:31 AM) Can we have an ump who doesnt have a mile long strike zone? As long as it is consistent a big zone benefits the Whtie Sox. The White Sox do not really like to take walks to begin with.
  20. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 15, 2015 -> 08:56 AM) They struck out the side twice last night. I have said I was no fan of the Duke signing, but he did something last night I haven't seen in a long time. His last strike out, he basically quick pitched Santana. It looked like a meatball right down the middle, but Santana wasn't prepared to swing. It was brilliant. I saw it and then went back an replayed it as I thought maybe my tv froze. That was something I thought the former pitcher and former G.M. in the booth may talk about in the 9th. It was pretty cool.
  21. Pitching was great Hitting should have gotten more runs v Indian bullpen game Defense and base running will cost them in the long run. Eaton is a stupid base runner.
  22. This team has no interest in OBP Alexi looks lost on defense Micah Johnson looks lost in the field and on the bases Tyler flowers is an embarrassment behind the plate Every phase of the game sucks for this team.
  23. I was expecting a different approach this season. Through 3 games this looks like the same approach as the last two.
  24. The walk and hit batter in game one seemed to set the tone for this series. Also this offense looks very similar to previous years.
  25. So much for the talk of making pitchers work. I did not see last nights game but Monday and today has shown me that this team has the same mentality of previous teams, OBP is not part of their mentality. Nice job getting off to a slow start.
