Beautiful night at the ballpark perfect weather. First five innings seemed to take forever. Nice timely homeruns. Got lucky with Q left him in one batter too long. Base running is terrible Vince Coleman needs to be reassigned.

The fact the Rangers have one leftie in the pen and our left handed hitters did not pinch hit last night still irks me. Has he pitched in the last week? When he blows his next opportunity (ala Toronto after a week lay off) this can be the number one reason. Ventura is not getting better at his job.

Eaton and cabrerra are really the main issue right now. Neither are on base enough to affect defensive shifts against abreu and laroche. The rest of the team is fine.

I think for relievers the time away is not as great a deal as starters. If they can get healthy they could add soemthing. I am a big fan of both as well.

I will say that he should have never have been moved from third base. He would be what hawk thought he was as a fielder at 3rd base and make up for some of his hitting shortfalls.

Flowers needs to go. Bring up George could he possibly do any worse. Defense is bad but a nice win.
