my ideal situation with JD would have him have a good 1st half of the season and provide good value in a trade, with Sweeney just tearing up Charlotte. Hopefully Fields steps up to replace Dye and we trade Dye for something we need to help a hopeful playoff push.

oh yeah, if you ask me, it's a whole lot smarter and safer to spend 6-7 on Burrell then it is 4-5 on Crede.

I think for Crisp, we can trade Crede and perhaps a mid level prospect to get Crisp if we take on his whole salary. I think we should release Hall and go for Jose Molina to be out backup.

Anyone know if the Rangers would be willing to trade Taylor Teagarden? I'd love to get him here and be our future catcher.

IIRC, he is a very good defensive catcher. Probably won't ever do much, but he could work his way up to the majors as a backup catcher.
