  1. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Feb 19, 2006 -> 08:06 AM) Dude, whatever. It's not like everyone has a little blame to go around. Ain't that the truth. Whenever that decision is mentioned, I wonder who we should be worried about today, who may do something evil in 5, 10, or 15 years. And of course, there will be near misses, etc. Damn cold in Texas today. 46 at the beach.

    From Kinky an autographs I will sign anything but bad legislation and once elected, Musicians, not politicians will rule Texas. Willie Nelson as Head of the Texas Rangers
  3. QUOTE(minors @ Feb 19, 2006 -> 01:21 AM) Fact is Clinton screwed up and now he has the blood of 2500 people on his name Pesky US laws. You are also making a supposition that with Bin Laden in custody his evil empire would have died with it. Playing "what if" is an innaccurate game at best and a dangerous game at worse. We could say if he was taken into custody that the world's terrrorists would have laid down their arms and begged for mercy, or we could say that the terrorist would have been driven to even bigger plans and a sporting event with 80,000 fans was spared. Imagine a crash at a sold out UM football game. I will say that Clinton not keeping his zipper up started a chain of events that led to his final couple years to be less than effective. If he had made Bin Laden a huge issue, the GOP would have been screaming tail wagging the dog. There is plenty of blame to go around and both parties have "blood on their hands".
  4. LOL, I meant Chainee
  5. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 18, 2006 -> 03:39 AM) Anybody that is in a comfortable environment with the support of a friend you can depend on being near by is going to perform better. Have a bad day, you have someone to talk to. Have a question on what to do, you talk to someone you trust. It makes it easier to approach and handle issues instead of taking them to work with you. I don't see how this makes Contreras different from anybody else. ^^^^^^^^^^^^ I worked in Mexico for two years. I was able to go home many nights, but the travel in the interior was tough. I have a lot of empathy for him. Being comfortable in your surroundings is important to anyone. Think about language issues, being homesick, etc.

    QUOTE(kapkomet @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 11:31 PM) Kinky Field team... I wonder what they're doing? Did you know once you vote in either primary you will not be eligible to sign Strayhorn or Kinky's ballot petition? Two me it seems like two seperate issues. One: Who I think is the best candidate to be Governor Two: Should Carol or Kinky be on the ballot BTW Perry, but you know what a GOP whore I am. Yes
  7. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 18, 2006 -> 03:48 AM) :headshake Gee thanks, old buddy. I kid because I care™

    Calling All Signature Collectors and Notaries! We've had an absolutely terrific response thus far to our request for volunteers to contribute at least one weekend day to help get Kinky on the ballot. Notaries have been volunteering their services in large numbers as well. But we still have room for more of both. Won't you join your fellow Kinky supporters in this historic effort? The race is now on to see which city will be the first to fill their minimum quota of petitioners for these six one-day, all-day signature collection events during the first three weekends of the petition drive, March 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26. The current standings are: 1. San Antonio 2. Dallas 3. Austin 4. Houston (3/18) 5.Houston (3/19) and 6. Ft. Worth. We're ending each weekend with a party with Kinky to which every participant will be invited. You'll be able to have fun and help make history at the same time. So show a little city pride and if you have not already done so, please SIGN UP NOW! It's just one day (or more if your willing). Are you a notary public who is willing to offer your services at these events or throughout the course of the petition drive? We can use your help too! PLEASE SIGN UP HERE. Can't make one of the Big Road Show events but still want to help collect signatures in your county? If you have not already volunteered to collect signatures, please fill out our general volunteer form and get involved. Declare your independence now! Save yourself for Kinky by not voting in the primaries. Kinky Field Team
  9. I'd rather go hunting with Chaney, then go driving with Ted Kennedy.
  10. Gumball is a luger for that comment . . .
  11. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 02:42 PM) I'm sure they're just wanting to make sure the media is 'scooped' going into the weekend. If they all were just 'silent' the backlash would be incredible. If only I was a GOPer and received the special government briefing that makes talking to the press unimportant. Press = Public: It's the only way for citizens who care can stay informed. Which is probably an old fashioned value that doesn't fit with today's get it from blogs and Rush world.

    QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 12:42 PM) Lieberman has only an 11 point lead, and is under 50%, in the Conn. Dem. Primary against challenger Ned Lamont. Given Lamont's name recognition is probably 10% right now, that's a lot of trouble for Joementum. He could always run as a Republican later
  13. I was about to add this QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 12:40 PM) This thread needs to die. QUOTE(mreye @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 01:23 PM) Somebody call Cheney. It's YASNY's funniest contribution
  14. QUOTE(mreye @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 01:23 PM) Somebody call Cheney. LMAO
  15. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 12:45 PM) Oh, I'd innoculate a whole s***load of liberals. So then only half the people here would be dumb asses . . .
  16. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 12:44 PM) Because there's no such thing as a dumbass vaccine. Wow, I didn't know you were looking for one And that doesn't mean I really think *you* need one
  17. QUOTE(YASNY @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 12:40 PM) This thread needs to die. Why? Did you see Harry? He looked great. Chaney had a nice speech in Wyoming, it's all coming together with great news. Why rain on the good news?
  18. Harry has his in Texas, minutes later Dick starts in Wyoming, then Bush is in Tampa. coincidence? Both parties do it, I'm getting whiplash trying to catch them all. Now Rummy is getting going. Is anyone working at the White House?
  19. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 10:02 AM) They don't keep track of the latter. They may not publish it, but with the impact it has in lost concession revenues, parking, etc. you can bet they track attendance through the turnstile. QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 12:15 PM) They sure do. They have to track it by law. There is a maximum capacity, and in case of a tregedy, they need to know how many are there.
  20. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 07:02 AM) Could you please point out where in the Texas hunting code it saids that you have to report hunting accidents to the press, and how long is proper to wait for a news confrence afterwards? I did some research for y'all and found this

  23. they wanted people to think they were having sex with a goat?? I'll bet all the Kentuckians on the list will be proud of their state after reading this
  24. QUOTE(mreye @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 12:01 PM) Whittington is speaking now. He looks fine. Isn't answering any questions
  25. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 11:57 AM) Ah-ha. I'm like NASA, I get English and metrics confused at inappropriate times. Mrs. FlaSoxx is researching false advertising claims along the same lines . . .
